Introduction
Developing leaderships skills are one of the most impotent thinks which is to be maintained by
any of the people. Organisation should also focus on developing skills and knowledge among
leaders of the team (Abdulmuhsin, and Tarhini, 2020). As developing management capabilities
helps the organisations in increasing their profits and success. In this given report there is use of
theoretical models. And it consists of developing and planning of leaderships and management
activities individually. Then it consists of personal development activities that is personal
developing plan.
Assess the existing leaderships and management capabilities
Leadership is the ability to influence someone towards achievement of gaols and
objectives. Management is the process which consists of manging one to one company’s
operations and functions in effective way. Management and leadership skills and capabilities are
the most important for every individual who is working in a company. There are various theories
of leaderships and managements. These are discussed below:
Contingency theory: This is one of the leaderships theories which may be applicable in
every situation. As in this leadership, the leader is choosing right course of action. Effective
leadership is that in which there is striking o the right balance that is between context, behaviour
and wants of the team leader. There is a need of best leaders who not only have good traits abut
also he is responsible for fulfilling the needs and demands of employees and the team member.
Transformation theory: This theory focusses on relationship between leaders and
employees. In this theory the leaders should be charismatic and encouraging which could
motivate employees for long run in the company and helps them in achieving their gaols and
objectives. If I will again this knowledge of transformational theory then I will effectively listen
to the employees needs and works towards fulfilling their demands and needs so that they could
get motivated and give their full potential in working (Gonzales, 2020). Leaders of
transformational theory not only focusing on the team performance but also, they are focusing on
individual person also.
Behavioural theory: In this leadership theory, leaders are not focusing on their qualities
and skills but they are focusing on behaviours and actions. This theory is based on the behaviour
of a person in relation with the employees working in an organisation. If I will be using this
