Setting up – Task 0
This Task is about creating an e-portfolio of the staff members of Shirt Scene
Company for provided case study. The task has been set up by using the working information
of Abbey, Bernita and Celestine. The information is about working days and shift timings.
According to the information the annual working hours has been calculated. The calculation
has been done by multiplying daily working hours with days of work in a week to obtain total
weekly hours. Then the extra time of work is added. Later the weekly hour work is multiplied
by 52 to get the yearly working hours.

Operating cost – Task 1
The task is about calculating the operating cost for the Shirt Scene using their staff
salaries and replacement with other insurance and expenses. Total cost of the staffs are
calculated by the rates of their working hours. Then the 4 weeks of paid replacement is
calculated by multiplying the working hours weekly with 4 weeks and rate. The monthly
utility cost is multiplied by the 12 to get annual utility cost. At last all the calculated total
costs are added using “sum” formula of excel. The obtained total (Figure 2.) is the total
operating cost of the manufacturing company.

Order information – Task 2
This Task shows the history of the orders line chart. This Figure 3 shows the changes
in manufacturing cost and quote amount over the time. The calculation of the viewing and
sorting of the manufacturing cost, quote amount according to the date of order is done by
Pivot chart in Excel. The quote date has been included in the axis and the count of the
manufacturing and quote amount is included in the value quadrant in the pivot chart data
field. The chart type is changed into the line chart to obtain better visualisation of the varied
data. Also the chart is having two axis, hence the axis has been separated in order to have the
separate view of line.
