This research paper focuses on the prevalence of sexual assault in universities and colleges, and the strategies to mitigate the risk. It includes a systematic review of prevalence research and efficacy of sexual assault resistance programs. The paper analyzes three articles that highlight the difference in the relationship between the myths regarding rape, behaviors, and attitudes regarding consensual sex and the willingness to involve in sexual behavior. The study has also mentioned various forms of sexual victimization in college campuses which includes forced rape, unwanted or sexual contract without the will or consent and sexual coercion.
