The study aimed to explore the relationship between intention and behavior among college students, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. The results showed that intentions were a strong predictor of behavior, but only accounted for 20-23% of the variance in behavior. The study also found that past behavior was a significant predictor of future behavior, while attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control were not significant predictors. Additionally, the study highlighted the limitations of using self-reported surveys and called for more research to understand the factors influencing the relationship between intention and behavior.
