Social media tends for leading individuals in order to accentuate
the favourable in their online outlines. It could make individuals
more possibly to engage in conflict online. It could also cause
individuals for keeping stronger relations (Shensa, et. al.,2017).
It could affect the offline behaviour of individuals in unfavourable
manners like cyberbullying is a social media behaviour that has real
offline significances.
The motive among two communication (online and offline) remain
very much same. However, for different young people, social
networking sites are considered preferred mode to arrive and
interact with colleagues, friends, as well as, other close personal
contacts (Lin, et. al.,2016).

psychological effects on users
Use of social media could detract from face to face associations,
decline investment in meaningful practices, increases sedentary
through motivating more screen time, direct to internet addiction
as well as, erode to self-esteem via negative social comparison.
Psychological effects of social media channels such as concerns
like increased extent of poor sleep quality, and dissatisfaction to
body image, cyberbullying ,and anxiety and depression, (Dhir, et.
al., 2018).
