Introduction
When you make a decision today, it will be the reflection of your tomorrow and the kind
of individual you want to become in the future, which will be the result of what you actually
decide to do today. This statement has been read by almost every individual including associates
who are older. It is a matter of concern where the decision the person makes today might have an
impact on his or her life later (Juanchich, Dewberry, Sirota and Narendran, 2015). The aim of
this report was to jot down preferred decisions as well as recognize weaknesses and strengths in
this field as the researcher come up with strategies to cope with some of the weaknesses in a
proper manner.
Personal Decision Making Preference
After making the decision, I have realized that having preferences is quite important for
the decision I have taken and I actually need to trust my gut. This is because once I say otherwise
(or maybe yes), I would want to be correct according to my own understanding as a person of
high intuition who has to be aware of everything they do. On the other hand, I cannot rate
reasoning at the high point of the scale, neither can I see myself at the lower point of the scale.
Therefore, I can say I am logical to the medium part of the scale with regard to reasoning. I am
quite considerate about how my decision affects other people and try my best to balance between
the others' side and my side (Alexander, 1997).

Decision Making Style Analysis
While reflecting on making decision and preference styles, I realized I have a high
preference when making decisions on my own, which seems to be correct, instead of making
ones that might feel to be right to the individual as I feel it might also lower my self-esteem.
Hence, it can be said that once I make a decision, I would see myself as courageous at the same
time and be ready to protect any other decision I made, which might also look like straight
opposition.
It is quite simple for me because I trust my gut, and I feel that whatever decision I make
will be fine for me (Brunell and Buelow, 2015). I have also realized what others decide and have
decided to do or what to do next unless I am the special one and involved in the other person's
decision. My question is, when the person is my senior with regard to authority, I seem to be
rational in making or taking the decision, so I might first make the decision myself without
knowing anyone.
Outcome – MBTI Test
The four scale MBTI test is to recognize the type of decision making in a primary
manner. I have noted that I am an extravert and am confident to make decisions I make. I have
high extraversion thinking which makes me ready for decision-making. The test helped me
identify that I am an individual who makes a decision and perceives that decision without
making room for change. While making the decision, I won’t judge and would be less
judgmental which helps me keep my focus on the decision I made. This decision would affect me
by the judgments as it would actually turn me incline to the scale and made me emotional at the
same time (Primi, Morsanyi, Chiesi, Donati and Hamilton, 2015).
