This report summarises the decision of a hospice nurse assisting an elderly couple following Parse’s theory of nursing. The case study revolves around Benn, Anne, and the disturbance in stability of Benn’s mental condition regarding the death of his wife, Anne. The following paragraphs are an account of the various advantages and disadvantages of Parse’s theory, its relevance in the contemporary world, and it is comparison with the theory of self-efficacy.
