INTRODUCTION
It is a type of major responsibility to maintain chain which is related to the logistics in order
to successfully maintain logistic management. It is the need for the management to adhere with
different laws and policies which are formulated by the government to perform logistics related
activities in a precise manner (Alghababsheh, 2020). In this report an overview of CoR Laws is
explained in detail along with common breaches of CoR obligations and different strategies to
mitigate them. This project also includes breach investigation and penalties which are imposed
by the authorities on a business. This report covers development of risk based and reasonably
practicable approach for specific plan. In this report NCT Company is taken into consideration
which shares showroom floor space with Regal Vans on the Queensland Sunshine coast. The
company is established as a manufacturer and supplier of canvas, the company has also deployed
junior and senior salesman for marketing operations. NCT has recently decided to gain business
growth at the marketplace and management of NCT has decided to increase production and
distribute trailers on consignment to a number of retailers of caravans and camper trailers in
Victoria, NSW and Queensland.

Overview of chain of responsibility laws
The chain of responsibility and National heavy vehicle laws, are the two major laws in
the field of supply chain management. According to these laws there is a responsibility of
management in order to prevent major accidents which are caused by using a vehicle
which is under fatigue. There were also changes which were introduced in this law in
October 2018, this law states that multiple parties may be responsible for offences which
are committed by drivers and also offences done by drivers of heavy vehicles.
With CoR laws Comply, transport operators can easily verify to Regulators and Supply
Chain Partners compliance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law, including the chain of
responsibility provisions.
Manager responsibilities
In the logistics department of NCT, manager play a critical role by ensuring all the
operations related to the logistics. The manager of company must follow CoR laws in order
to ensure optimum supply chain related operations in a precise manner. The manager must
