Read the following case study and answer the questions :
Charlie is a regular customer and a nice person. It is Monday night when you start work in the Imagine hotel. You are
getting a handover from a colleague who mentions that Charlie arrived at lunchtime and has not gone back to work with
his work colleagues.
You have served Charlie several alcoholic drinks and you notice that he is getting angry and he is in and out of the
gaming room. He approaches the bar and asks you for a beer and a shot of whiskey you notice that he is slurring some of
his words. You serve him and as he leaves the bar, you notice that his balance is a little off.
Later you are cleaning up around the gaming room area and when you are talking with Charlie, he asks if he can borrow
some money as his card is not working and cannot get any cash out of the ATM machine.

What laws have been contravened in this scenario?
Answer
For the provided scenario of Charlie he want to borrow some money to play game, however, it doesn.t come
under code of conduct for gambling.

What should you do?

Answer
For this scenario I will follow the workplace ethics and will try to make a professional conversation with the client
i.e., Charlie. As he is the regular customer, I would politely state him about the code of conduct and would
disclose required information.

Where can you get Help?
Answer
If in case of conflict or abusing I can get help from on-site available staffs and security guards at the hotel. In
addition to this, I can also dial emergency contact or seek attention of supervisor available in the hotel.
