5. List an appropriate example of how a staff member’s duties can be combined to ensure
effective use of staff.
In order to combine duties of a staff, works need to be assigned such that each work needs a
specific skill of that employee. It will help employee to ensure proper application of their skills
and ensure quality in their job duties.
For example, if an employee has job duties of designing and testing software, then to do that
job, it is required to apply various skills and designing and testing activities are needed to be
scheduled such that it does not require to consider these job duties at once which makes it
easier to apply skills. It also helps organization to ensure effective application of employee skills
