INTRODUCTION
Skill development refers to a process for dentification of skill gap and also for ensuring
development of skills. It develops ability in a person for purpose of execution of plan and also
for attainment of goals. It is important process in life of student as on basis of it, a students can
be easily ensuring development of skills which allow them to focus on studies (Dash and et. al.,
2019). On basis of it, these students can ensure their personal and professional development. It
allows them to find out good career opportunity in their professional life. This project report
includes analysation of different skills and learning development by identifying skill gap for
future learning and development. Moreover, it consists different actions to be taken by a person
in order to fil these skill gaps.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Development of skills as a result of project
Skill development refers to a process which can be used by a person in order to find out solutions
of problem faced by them. It is important for individual in order to ensure development of
different capabilities knowledge, learning and competencies which is required for them to
overcome of problem. On basis of these skills, individual can complete different projects which
allow them for completion of work in effective manner (Gooptu, 2018). Use of these skills is
also important for a person in order to provide support to members, motivate them and also for
other reason. Different types of skills developed by me for purpose of completion of work which
are mentioned below:
Leadership skills: It is a skill which create influence over other people and also control their
action. It is also important for influencing action of team members for attainment of project. This
skill is developed by me with completion of project where I manage whole team. In order to
reflect my leadership skills, I take initiative and develop work among members. It helps to avoid
confusion related to work among team members which allow them to complete work in efficient
manner.
Communication skills: It is another important skill which I have developed with completion of
project. This skill allows me to share my ideas, thoughts, views, opinion and other things with
another person. It is essential for me to develop these skills as on basis of it, I was able to

communicate with client. It helps me to understand problem occur in business of client and on
basis of it, I can give them effective solutions. It is also assisted me to communicate with team
members which will provide us different ideas in order to develop creative solutions.
Team working skills: It is also a skill that can be developed by me as I have worked with
different members. All these members have different competencies, capabilities and other things
for purpose of completion of work. In order to complete all these works, I needs to work with
different team members (Hanus and Havelková, 2019). Development of this skill allow me to
cooperate with others and also helps me to attain goals and objectives of project. It also assisted
to me for purpose of attainment of goals and objectives and also for solving problem faced by
client.
Things does not know before starting of project
With completion of project, I have learned different things about the project and situation. It
provides me opportunity to improve my learning and also developing skills. It is important in
order to handle such situation in future period of time. It also provides opportunity for purpose of
providing my guidance in order to handle situation in future period of time. These situations are
important for purpose of getting success in future.
Improvement in confidence
Skill development is also essential for improving confidence of a person as it provides sense of
achievement to a person. It also develops an experience on basis of which individual in able to
handle the situation in effective manner (Hill, Overton and Thompson, 2020). On basis of it, a
person can communicate with other people, share their ideas, communication which is required
in order to get success for a project. The experience of success of this project will also create
impact over confidence. All these things will boost my confidence which is also a part of skill
development.
Learning for future career
On basis of completion of this project, a person has learned different things. With learning these
skills, I am able to imorove my competencies and can also get competitive advantage in market.
Some of these skills developed by me including problem solving skill, leadership skills,
communication skill and others. This also not only helps in my present situation but also helps
me in future by providing me good career opportunities.

From above mentioned skill audit, it can be interpreted that individual possess some skills which
are their strength and some skills needs improvement. It is important for a person to improve
their skills in order to ensure personal and professional development. It is also important for
them in order to get success in their life and for career (Kuehnle and Oberfichtner, 2020). On
basis of development of these skills, individual will be able to attain their goals and objectives.
Some of skills identified by be in order to be successful are mentioned below:
Organisation skill: It can be described as skills in which focus of individual is on different types
of tasks along with use of resources, time, energy, personal space and other things which provide
them desired results. In order to develop this skill, individual can be efficient and capable for
managing different task, resources, activities at workplace that assist to reduce wastage of efforts
and resources.
Conflict resolution skill: It is an essential skill which is required at workplace to maintain peace
and productivity. There is different conflict occur at workplace place due to difference of
interest, opinions, ideas, skills and thoughts (Sotiriadou and et. al., 2020). In order to maintain
productivity at workplace, individual needs to develop these skills which is highly required
skills.
Time management skill: Time management skill refers to process which helps an individual to
organise and divide time in effective manner among different activities. On basis of it, individual
can save their time over non required skills and can invest it on important activities. With
development of this skill, individual can reduce pressure and stress of time which is important in
order to maintain quality of work.

From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that skill development is essential
process in life of a person as it allows them to improve their capabilities and also to be effective
in different situation. There are different types of skills to be developed by a person in order to
handle the situation in effective manner and these skills consist problem solving skills,
communication skill, time management skills, conflict handling skills and others. There are also
some skill gaps faced by a person in order to be effective and in order to develop these skills,
they can develop personal development plan.
