1. Aldi Australia is currently known to be one of the most trusted retail chains in
Australia. It is known for its low pricing strategies and high customer satisfaction as a result
of it that make Aldi Australia one of the highest rated retail stores in Australia1. This is
primarily because of the fact that competitors like Kmart Australia and Big W do not provide
the pricing that could be as affordable as Aldi. The company proposes that they do things
differently and that is how the customers perceive them. For example the retail chain is
currently focusing on converting all of its Australian stores into new format called the new
store. In this format wooden products base are expanded with clearer signage and energy
efficient LED lighting2. Customers have to say that this format has immensely helped them in
taking out products at ease and for how spacious it is. Competitors of this retail store have not
been able to pose a proper competition to Aldi, since according to be Australian retailers
association, Aldi is ranked at the top of the 20 best retailers in Australia3. This could be
attributed to the wide range of products that the retail provides at the cheapest possible prices.
For example body washes in Australia mostly cost around 6.99 Australian dollars while in
Aldi, customers can afford it for 5.99 Australian dollars4. This difference in pricing strategies
and the idea to help customers get what they want has strengthened the retail’s position as
being one of Australia's most trusted retail stores.

2. While communicating a business plan there could be a lot of challenges that could
come forward. Therefore it is for this reason that the main thing that has to be considered is to
make sure that the business plan addresses the needs and understandings of the audiences.
The first thing that has to be noted is the fact that the speaker of the source of the message
often fails to interpret or understand the perspective of the audience. It has to be noted that
one has to be able to see things from the audience’s perspectives to address the figures and
facts that they need to know. This often does not happen and therefore it fails to persuade the
audience with the business plan. Poorly structured content could be another problem. This is
because of the fact that when a content flows in a uni direction, the audience gets to have an
idea of how the plan will unfold. Without this clear structure in the content it would be
difficult for the audience to know what leads to what. Stakeholder politics is another problem
since most of the stakeholders related to the company do not want to change the regular ways
of doing business and hesitate to change. This is particularly when a company is already
doing well and it becomes a real challenge to persuade them that the business plan would be
able to help the company to even better in the coming future5.
