1.0 INTRODUCTION
Skill audit defined as a systematic arrangement of student research knowledge and skills.
An audit must provide proof of existing and building the competencies. It is nearly associated
with need analysis. Which justify the needs for training and personal development. It also
include the analysis of two sides of coin what is the need of the student, what the student has.
Personal development planning program defined as, is to building a plan of action which is
depend upon awareness, reflection, value, goal setting and looking forward for planning for
personal development program with in relation of career, education, relationship or for self
improvement and enhance the skills which is required. It gives the advantage for future
development in corporate life as well as personal life. This reports includes the various skills
development program, individual development, it evaluates the development of individual skills
by the weekly reflective log exercise. This all thing includes the overview of the report (Law and
Shen, 2020) .
TASK 1
2.0 Audit and evaluation of key skills
Personal and key skills are very essential because it represents as a building blocks that
reflects the learning in various circumstances that helps in adopting and applying what a person
is needed to be learned. During learning session several skills are to be included such self
discipline, research, communication, decision making, problem solving etc. within this several
skills are vital that are communication, team work skills and information technology skills. This
report involves the several skills that learned during the current session and module.
2.1 Teamwork skills- Team skills defined as it is group of people to looking forward and
acquire shared goal or outcome in ethical manner. Which is listen to other members of the team,
it works in a group with excellent collaboration as well as better understanding, taking each and
everyone ideas on board, not just particular person. It involves the working for good of the group
as a whole. A excellent team work has a great quality as well as unique skills and strength which
help to acquires a shared goals in the most efficient way. Team work skills enhances the
confidence which contributes ideas for a project or tasks. It play a active part in building a
positive energy and environment during the project. Team work skills makes the responsible
personality which is very helpful in corporate life along with social life. It includes the better

understanding between the team mates and colleagues to create collaboration which gives
support for long time of duration. It involves the combined effort on the part of a group of people
which working together to acquire the same goal. This program looks in deeply into different
parts which is vision, trust and communication. This skill shows building the trust, teaches the
conflict resolution skills and promote a wider sense of ownership. It blends the complimentary
skills along with the fosters creativity and learning. Creativity boom when people work together
on a team. Team skills shows to come up with solution not with problem (Collaborative, 2018) .
2.2 Communication skill- It refers to an essential skill that helps an individual person to
share their views and thought to the other person like seniors, colleagues etc. There are several
types of communication skill such as listening skill, non verbal skills, written communication
skill and many more that helps a person to enhance their career in terms of personal and
professional development. In this it is very essential for an individual person to develop their
skills at high level that helps in securing their future career in an appropriate manner. For
communicating the roles in professional career to their team mates it is very essential to get the
best communication skills and also follow proper communication standards (Sastri, Saputra and
Apsari, 2019) .
2.3 IT skill- IT skills is called information technology skills are qualities of knowledge,
talents related to the use of management, development, design, architecture and administration of
technology. Information technology skills includes the various skills such as organisational
skills, problem solving, word+ office, research, computer skills and typing. Information
technology creates the brilliancy of human because today's nation depend upon the IT skills,
everything is going in smart way for example E commerce etc. IT skills is very mandatory in
organisation because it requires the smart work as well as hard work also, but at a some point not
only even hard work.
SKILL AUDIT
It refers to a systematic term that helps the students to research skill and knowledge. It is
very essential to examine the existing and developing competency so that needs related to
training and development is to be fully satisfied. It helps in assessing the level of expertise on the
basis of which skills are to be improved. During this module there are several skills that are
essential to grow the professional career for this skill audit is to be needed that can helps in
analysing the strength and weaknesses so that effectiveness are to be maintained.

According to the skill audit, It is very easy to evaluate the several skills and key skills
that are to be improved in this my team working skills are to be average and needs to be
improved high. In this communication skills are also reflected as average to improve it for the
high extent I can involve in several activities like presentation etc. so that it can be enhanced
high. This improvement is to be done because of skill audit as it helps in defining the level of
knowledge so that improvements and developments can be don appropriately. To enhance
several skills I have to take participate in several activities and sessions such as Business games,
presentation, debate, communication, team management online sessions etc. so that overall skills
are to be enhanced. In this skills related to information technology is good because of high usage
of digital technologies and training. Because of this effective skill I can enhance other two skills
to high extent (Khemakhem and Fontaine, 2019) . To improve the several types of skills I can
face many challenges and opportunities that are to be reflected by using the Gibbs reflection
model that can be elaborated below:
Gibbs reflection model
It is very effective model to elaborates the personal experience during the specific
modules and session. This model is proposed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 to provide the structure
to learning from an experiences.
 Description- In this step an individual person describe the situation without reflecting
any conclusion. In this I have to elaborate the experience that is useful to learn the more
new skills and development. Within the learning session of the module I have to develop

my communication, team work, information technology skills. For this I decided to
segments the learning sessions as per the essentialist which is to be examined by using
the skill audit. According to this I can highly focus on improving my team working,
communication skills because both are very essential in the professional career. In this to
developed my communication skill I can involved in several activities like presentations.
Skills, debate, group discussion, telephonic interviews etc. to improve the overall
communication skill (Weingarten, and Hicks, 2018) . For team work skills I can focus on
listening seniors and corporate with them and also participate in managing the activities
within team that helps in enhancing the overall skills related to time management.
Including within this skills helps in enhancing my research skill. During this module I
can take the help of my seniors and faculties that helps in allocating the time as per the
needs regarding developing skills so that objectives related to gaining skills is to be
fulfilled on time. During my learning session I can focus on coordinating with my seniors
and colleagues so that improvement done within the skills is done effectively and
efficiently. All those things are to be happened during my learning session. Within this
whole session I can divided the time so that I can gain the knowledge effectively and
within set period of time. During this I can give the enough time to every activity so that
targets can be reached on time. Within this I can face the several opportunities related to
developing the future career that is highly essential for future growth within some
reputed company. At the same time I had face several challenges related to coordinating
with my classmates and seniors to understand their thoughts and feelings related to
specific skills. In this my seniors contributes positively by supporting me when I get
depressed during the communication session because of my classmates.
 Feeling- Within this I had to express my feeling during the whole learning session. It is
positive and negative in nature. During this whole learning module, I had to involved in
several activities related to developing the communication, teamwork and information
technology skill. Within this I had realised that there are lot of work to do to develop my
overall personality and for this I was quite happy and excited by thinking that the
activities are to be divided effectively that helps in managing time and because of this my
team working skill is also to be developed. By involving in several types of activities I
realised that my colleagues and classmates are not in favour and cannot support me in

developing my skills. This got frustrated me and because of this my morale of giving the
presentation is to be down. This frustrated nature fully demotivate me but my seniors are
very supportive that supports during my whole learning session. Because of this I can feel
motivated and due to this enhancement in skills are to be done effectively. Due to the
high support of my seniors I can communicate appropriately without any hesitation and
anxiety and attain the objective of developing skills. After that my colleagues felt sorry
and supporting me to complete the activities. This will enhance team work skills.
 Evaluation- Within this I can evaluated the good and bad situation that are present within
completing the module. In this several things that are to be good and worked effectively
that means getting the proper support from everyone that helps in producing the quality
work within set time frame. Within this neglecting with my colleagues and classmates
motivates me to work harder so that skills related to communication, team work are to be
enhanced. It is to be evaluated that within the whole session related to gaining skills and
knowledge my communication and team work skill is to be developed and it can be
judged my seniors by examining. This also developed the work ethics that is highly
essential to developed the professionalism within corporate world (Altshuler, 2019) .
 Analysis- To analyse the whole learning session I think can segmenting the time as per
the skills and knowledge is very interesting that helps me to effectively and appropriately
completing the assignment. This helps in developing my several other skill such as
research skill, time management skill etc. But not getting the high support from the
colleagues demotivated me but receiving the high level of good support from seniors and
faculties boosting the overall morale. Due to this my overall skill can be improved as per
the set time that helps in sustaining longer period of time within corporate world.
 Conclusion- By concluding the overall reflection it is concluded that I had learned
several types of skills. Due to my effective information technology skill I had to learned
communication and team work skills. In this my effective time management planning
helps in completing the assignment as per setting time frame. The whole learning session
helps in grow and developed the future in relation to professional context.

3.0 Personal development research and planning
Personal development refers to a lifelong process as it is the best way to examine the
skills and qualities that are useful in professional and personal life to gain the maximum profits.
To enhance the overall skill such as communication, team work, information technology several
areas are need to be developed that are mental, social, emotional, physical areas are needed to be
developed. This could be examined effectively by evaluating skill audit that helps in exploring
opportunities to learn and develop at the university (Steil, 2018) .
According to skill audit communication, team work and information technology skills are
presenting the opportunities in relation to enhance the professionalism. To enhance these skills
several areas are to be developed that are presented below:

profile job within reputed company by developing these skills and knowledge (Rose, 2018).
Within the university, I can focus on developing the several areas so that my overall skills are to
be improved. In this several opportunities are to be developed that can be presented below:
3.1 Volunteering
It is the best aspect to developed the skills such as communication, team work by
volunteering involved in the several activities so that I can overcome from my fear. It helps me
in connecting with the community due to which my communication skills are to be improved. To
developed my oral communication I had volunteering involved in interacting with the other
person for expanding the network that helps in boosting the social skill. To developed my
communication skill it is highly essential to involved voluntary in certain activities. This
opportunity helps in reconnect with the working world that are highly linked with passion and
interest (Howard, 2019).
3.2 Internship
To developed the personal skills and knowledge for developing the professional career,
internship is the best way because it is a workplace where a person improve their overall
personality by working with the managers, colleagues, team mates. For this I had to voluntary
taking the decision related to do internship in reputed organisation. It helps in improving the
ability to plan the activities effectively that supports in my future job. This also helps in
developing the interpersonal skill which is useful to improve my team working skills. For
developing the team working skill Internship is the best opportunity I got within my learning
module. This also developed my oral communication skill by communicating with several clients
and stakeholders in the guidance of my management team. Internship is the best aspect that are

useful to maximise the soft skills which are desirable for my future point of view (Bachik and
Kitzman, 2020).
There are major two areas which are to be needed to enhancing the essential two skills
that are communication and team work skills. As information technology is also essential but it is
already effective and strong. To developing communication and team work skills several areas
like removing the fear to interact with other person is very essential. It is to be developed by
taking the participate in several meeting, seminars, presentations, debate as a voluntary basis. It
helps in developing the oral communication skill as it is highly essential within this corporate
world as per current scenario. To developed the team working skill I have to involved in taking
the participation within several events and working in a team so that coordination is to be
developed high. Completing the goals by taking the responsibilities so that it can be completed
on specific period of time. In this developing the proper plan is very significant and proper
interaction with seniors are effectively useful to gain the team working skills (Fletcher, 2019) .
4.0 CONCLUSION
From above report it is concluded that skill audit and personal development planning is
very prominent for an individual person to enhance their professional career that helps in gaining
the high level of success. This report included the skill audit related to three essential skills that
helps in looking forward related to developing the career, education and also self improvement.
Skill audit is very useful to evaluation the personal skills and examine the strength and
weaknesses that are significant and to undertake improvements for developing the future. It
includes several skills and abilities that helps in pe4rforming the business functions effectively
and appropriately. Personal development plan is vital for progressing the career in terms of
professionalism. In this opportunities related to volunteering and internship avenues are to be
effective to developed the overall skills that are effective in developing the professional career.
