INTRODUCTION
Personal development comprise of the method in which all the qualities, skills and the
working nature of the individuals are analysed and managed. This implements and frame all the
implemented goals an the principles with which the maximisation of the potential and the
realisation of the areas in which the implemented changes are being made. The professional
development is mainly the method which helps in managing and providing the roles and the
ways through which variable areas and the job roles are being opted and the individual can
analyse the issues and the ways in which the work can be opted. The current reflective report us
based on a lady of 35 years’ old who is currently working and situated in Colchester having
significant work experience in companies situated in London. Being a working women it become
essential to have regular focus on skill and development and have expertise in areas that are
being underlined the overall personal and the professional development that helps to make the
career growth and also to build the confidence in the person. Some of the major skills which are
being required for maintaining all such growth are like time management, communication skill,
decision making skill, problem solving and so on (Chapman,, Miles, and Maurer, 2017). This
report will cover the understanding in context to the skills and its development and further will
provide the CV of the person.
MAIN BODY
Key skills required for development
Their is been seen that skills are the most important areas which helps in diversifying the
knowledge and also in opting the growth and development. There are various key skills which
are required within a lady of 35 years to have higher employability opportunity and improved
career growth within London based companies some of the main skills of which are being opted
and discussed as below:ï‚· Problem solving skill: it implies to provide and manage all the issues and the problems in
order to manage and provide the effective solutions. Here all the contribution of the
active listening, researching, team building etc. are managed. In order to manage and
resolve all the issues there is required to identify all the basic adaptability and the
methods. this skills plays a vital role in managing career on all the basic level and also

top adapt the growth in job and in technical aspects (Hill, and et.al., , 2019). This skill
helps in boosting the confidence and also to maintain and solve all the critical issues. In
order to develop this skill I have taken various training sessions and also tries to manage
and implement different imaginery situations through which I try to opt the ways in
which problems can be evaluated and solved. I also opt different solutions in which
issues can be removed and the solutions can be alerted and made. I tried to manage my
working in groups and teams through which I will gain the opportunities to solve issues
and to equally analyse and face different problems and give its variable ways and
methods.ï‚· Time management: this is the important skill in which the systematic approach and the
ways in which the work can be completed on timely manner (Chandra, 2019). This is
mainly the method in which all the work can be completed in the productive manner and
also in optimised time period. This helps in managing and realizing all the issues through
which the assigning of the work should be completed on specific time. In order to
manage this skill I try to opt the effective time management by the short term and the
long term goals in which all the short terms goals are managed in efficient time period. I
managed to develop a schedule in which I try to complete the task on the specified time
period and also to completed all the project report an working on the assigned manner in
time deadline. This not only manage my inner skills and also to maintain the reduction in
which distraction can be applied. I also developed the schedule in which I try to frame
and manage the applicability of the time on the opted manner. By managing the time I
gained more dedication and confidence to mange the work on timely basis and also to
remove all the distraction from any issues.
ï‚· Communication skill: This implies to be the important tool in which all the connection
with the individuals are managed and this helps to make the verbal and the general
interaction with individuals through which the ideas, ways ans the attitude of the person
is being shared (Prajugjit, and Kaewkuekool, 2020). This generates and manages all the
brief working through in the elaboration of the nature and their adaptive working is
implied. This skills serves to be the most important part in both personal and the
professional areas as it evaluates and manages the students to connect and maintain the
working in proper manner. It also helps in solving all the issues and the to manage all the

problems. As all the communication complicates the verbal and the non verbal
confidence in which they manage to build the motivation and also to generalise the
effective interactions. I focus on improving my learning and communication skills by
adapting and managing all the functions and also by joining several group discussions as
that will motivate we to connect with people and also to share the views and the ideas. I
take all important points in which the communication can be enhanced and also implicate
the methods through which the growth and the general framing of the work can be
applied. This will grow my inner motivation to build and enhance the confidence and
morale.

Making use of the skill audit technique would be helpful in determining the skills that need
further improvement and betterment. This is mainly a systematic approach and assessment
through which all the knowledge and the optimisation of skills are being framed (Wang,, Lin,
and Hajli, 2019). It helps in measuring the performance and the skills that are being complied
and the skill audit of the chosen skill is being mentioned thereunder:

On the basis of the above skill audit, it has been analysed that at the age of 35 years I would
like to have career development and look out for higher rank and better professional jobs. Thus,
for that it has become essential for me to look out towards having the improved communication
skills that would supports a better interaction and networking with people along with making me
suitable for higher manager and leadership roles. Beside this, effective problem solving skill is
also being needed and required in me to mitigate the prevailing issues and better handle the
situation in an experienced and effective way.
Gibb's model of reflection during remote learning process
In this model there is being required to manage all the reflective cycle through which the
occurrence and the management of the incidents are abruptly being undertaken. The process for
this is given as under:ï‚· Description- this is generally the initial stage in which all the working and the effective
management is aligned there is implicated that all detailed description of the issues which
is being addressed this applies all the background as in context to the history and the
incidents in which they align and draw the better understanding and also the decision
making to be served (Idamoyibo, and Achieng’Akuno, 2019). It cover the major areas
and the issues which are like why the issue is being served what are the records and many
many more. As at the time of pandemic there is being implicated that so many companies
are hutted out and that affected the working and availability of the jobs as their observed
that so many online session were going on and all the operation of general areas and the
compliance are through online sessions. Further, during the times of pandemic I need to
be more protective and attentive while working and taking training at organisation based
on London. The current reflection is based on my experience of 5 weeks training within a
London based Hotel (Savoy hotel in London) to develop effective leadership and
communication skill.ï‚· Feeling- These are all the emotions which are being addressed and complied in which all
the emotions and the general mental well being is being concerned. some of the main
element and the ways through which this is opted is usually the methods and the ways in
which the person is feeling while the incident has taken and the ways in which people
felt as that covers all the referencing sessions and the reasons. I was earlier scared in
order to manage and work through all the technology and it s area there is been seen that I

feel demotivated and less confidence while managing the working. I was not able to gain
and manage the effective working through all the positive results through all online
sessions and courses. But when I started taking the online learning session that helped me
out to build the confidence and facilitates a better understanding about effective
communication, leadership and time management skills.
ï‚· Evaluation- It involves all the stages an the methods in which the reflection of the
general compliance and the areas in which the addressing of the needs are accompanied.
This provides all the further evaluation and the methods in which they maintain the
objectives in which all the working in favour and in against are being retrospect. All the
positive and the negative elements are outlined. this provides all the objective studies and
the ways in which the experience of the person is evaluated and areas like what was
good and where they were lacking. To overcome the issues of chaos and conflicts among
the team I made use of the participative leadership style further I also learnt about how to
effectively coordinate and set a balance with diverse workforce. Further, during the
current learning session and group activity I also get to develop improved communication
and problem solving skill along with effective time management that has been presented
in the weekly log book attached at the end under the heading of Appendix.ï‚· Analysis- It provides all the hindered areas and the methods in which the situation and
the information is gleaned. This is mainly the analysis in which the person try to maintain
and evaluate all the things which goes well and which created the major problem. It
provides the methods through which all the higher level of management and the opting
skills are being considerer. Their is been addressed that in realised thorough all such
analysis that I lack in communication skill and this was generally being needed in order
to maintain the interaction I was also not being able to manage the dedication and
confidence level while the prevailing training session within London Branch of Savoy
hotel.ï‚· Conclusion- IT provides all the issues and the ways in which the work can be
implemented and the final areas in which all the negative outcome can be removed and
all the positive attributes can be regained (Parthasarathy,, Monika. and Aswini, 2017) .

also overcome all the issues and the hurdles that are being analysed and faced in that
situation. At the time of my online classes, there are many ways which I have learnt for
making interaction with my students as well as teachers. I also made use of the
professional and learning toolkit. Hereby, now I will also work on my feedbacks which I
received from my teachers during online study and will work to overcome the same.
Skills for development and the opportunities.
The concept of skill development is very important in the professional and personal life.
There are mainly two skills which are required to be developed by me and it can be done by way
of internship as well as volunteering.
ï‚· Communication skill: this is considered as the significant skill as without it, it is difficult
for achieving the success. The person must have the ability to wrote and speak in clear
and confident manner and also listen to others to provide effective response to them. I can
make improvement in my skills by way of volunteering as it includes communicating
what is being done. This will help in deepening my experience as well develop my skills
so that I can bring advancement in my career. Volunteering will also help me in meeting
with new people so that I can become social by making use of the communication skill.
When this skill is used by me, it will bring positive impact in my efforts and I can be
appreciated for my working. It will also provide me with an opportunity to present my
opinion in effective manner and ask question. It opens up the door towards
professionalism and also helps in growing my career
ï‚· Time management- It is considered as one of the most important skill which I need to
develop and have properly at my workplace. For the improvement in my time
management skill the internship can play the vital role in developing this skill where I

will able to develop and this will impact in my career. From my internship I can learn the
various aspects of the time management and how effectively I can work upon the various
aspects. The internship will help me in creating a plan before in order to work properly
and I can be flexible with the working hours and meanwhile manageable with my
personal life. It is an important skill where I need to learn how to prioritize the different
task and how can I effectively mange the different task at a particular time. In my
internship my task was based on the deadline which allows me to complete my task on
the right time. It is important to manage time because at some point of time I get to
rectify on the mistakes and recheck my work thoroughly which helps me in creating the
smart work and an effective work. The internship encourages me to work ahead when I
can. This helped me how to manage time even when I am under pressure of completing
the task. So, internship will be very useful opportunity for me to improve the time
management skill.
ï‚· Problem solving skill - This is the most important skill for me as I require to solve the
difficult situations and at times it is difficult to manage things. The creative mind and the
problem skill is required as being a student. Because of the few task I was ale to develop
my problem solving skill and started using the creative ideas so that it can help me in
solving the difficult task in a eraser manner. This is important for me to finish my task on
the right way and right time. The problem solving skill is required at every stage. I was
able to develop this skill as I participated and helped my friend sif they were in the
difficult situation s where I tried to solve such curcumstance4s.

solving and communications skill. Because these skills are required in career at every stage and
