INTRODUCTION Academic writing refers to the style of writing that has been used by scholarly publications and universities(Hamam,andHysaj,2021). Academic writing helps to enhance the skills and capability that are required to write books journals articles that are related to the academic courses and scholarly publications. In order to become an effective academic writer at an individual is required to take care of several features in the writing. In order to develop the skills and capabilities for the higher education that is essential for an individual to develop academic writing skills. This report is going to contain study skills that are required for higher education and various features that are essential to have an effective academic writing. It further contains the personal experience that I have get from the learning and the ways that improve my academic writing. MAIN BODY There are several features that should we present in academic writing among which four of them are explained below: Structure. Writing requires to be completed in a proper structure that should be clear enough and derive from the genre of the writing(Atkinson, 2021). Taking an example of the structure such that report should contain an introduction which contains the aims and objectives of the report. Further, report contains main body in which all the required data of the report has been included. This helps a report to be attractive enough and with the proper logical progression so that the writing can be coherent in nature. All the parts of writing that are different in nature should be clearly connected in a well-structured manner so that the project themes final completed and when is structured with logical progression of ideas. Evidenced. In order to provide effective writing in the academic writing it is essential for an article to be supported with evidence no matter what opinions and arguments are contain in academic writing (Susilo, Mufanti, and Fitriani, 2021). The information that has been used in the writing should be provided by some experts in the field and it is very essential to reference the information
properly. To take an example of giving evidence in the writing the evidence can be given with the help of in text citation and reference sources. Evidence provided in the academic writing helps to give credit to the writers that has been research a lot to write the work in their publications. It is essential to provide added to the writers and experts and mention the source from which the information has been collected to make the report authentic in nature. Precise. In order to make an academic writing attractive it is essential to use information that is clear and precise in nature(Zhu, 2021). The language that has been used in the academic writing should be precise to ensure that the readers can be able to understand its meaning. The vocabulary that will be used in the academic writing should be technical in nature which conveys the meaning more precisely and in a similar manner and if such technical vocabulary is required to be defined then it should be defined in the same manner in the report. Precise information given in the writing not only makes the report to be faithful but also helps the writer to provide attractive report in the academic writing. There are many times in which technical terms requires defining because it contains different meaning in different languages that is required to be readily understood by the reader. In such a case the writer is required to clear the precise meaning of the technical term in the writing. Critical It is not essential that academic writing is just descriptive. Academic writing is more than descriptive writing because a writer is required to accept each and every fact that is required to be known to the reader. In order to write an effective academic writing a writer is required to analyse and evaluate the data in effective manner so that others or the readers can be able to make effective judgements about the same(Chung,andAhn,2021). Before providing the academic writing it is essential for the writer to check whether the writing is integrated in the own writing or not which is considered in the critical writing. To write critically a writer is required to deal with the great research on the topic on which the report has been developed so that the deep understanding can be provided in the report which can make the report truly critical.

Personal experience: When I have taken admission in the course I have less experience with the academic writing and I have developed a lot of my skills and capabilities in order to enhance and improve my academic writing(SANJAYA, 2021). I was not aware about the basic features that are required in an effective academic writing and with the help of joining this course I have improve the several features and my writing through which I can be able to write well in the academic writing. In my first project I have made several mistakes that are related to the structure and evidence that are required to complete the project. Now I am able to complete my project and writings in effective manner(Lindenman, and Rosinski, 2020). CONCLUSION The above discussion help you conclude that academic writing is very essential for an individual in order to enhance their learning in writing and capabilities in higher education. Enrollment in the course help me to learn affective skills and features that are required to improve the skills that are required in the enhancement of project and academic writing that are essential for higher education.
