INTRODUCTION
Skills and courses provides new insight for future and accordingly set the goals and
objective for career. There so many universities awarded these kind of skills which helps to get
more career options. There is high need for the personal development that can help to get better
learning and to spend better lifestyle. The report about personal development plan so identify
career option which one is choose help to get easily achieved goals in future. Personal SWOT
analysed, evaluates more skill and courses which help in career progress as well as set SMART
goals (Angkurasiri, 2018).
Part1) Evaluated three possible carrier options which I have chosen in my Career.
Career progress is essential for each and every one so accordingly set goals or career
options. It refers to those choose proper career path which helps me to attain my dream position
in future. I am focused towards my career, skills, interest and self assessment so all these thing
help me to choose correct career option. In addition to this, knowledge and skills provides new
insight as well as gives me equal opportunity for different job roles which I do specialisation in
future. When I feel successful when I meet short term as well as long term goals. I will identify
three possible career options which are discussed below. There are three of the options that are
discussed further.
Management consultant-: I feel as these designation is suitable for me in order to I like
to listen problems and solve queries and provides best solution out of them. I want to be fair and
independent individual. I try to not to be more judgemental and always absorb my team
members so these kind of profiles convenient for me. On the basis of these profiles these is not
in particular areas due to these they are broader and wider scope such as financial services, IT,
telecom sector retail and media (Boonthamweeranat, 2019).
Digital content specialist-: Under these profiles is more interesting due to where
everything seems to be connected with digital service. I think these job profile help in my career
progress and provides long term benefits because near future more demands arises. A graphic
designer or freelancer working from home similar way content writer easily can be managed
work from home. This is beneficial and able to provide better result with better lifestyle.
General and operations manager-: General manager position on high demands due to
these every one want these kind of job profile. Manger is person who can handle operations in

that way so it easily achieved organisation goal and objective. These kind of position convenient
for me because individual have specific experienced and posses MBA degree.
Hence, it includes identify three career options. On that basis I want to selected best
option for me is digital content writer because these kind of job helps in my career both way
increasing knowledge and financially more secured. This can also help to increase the
knowledge of individual and help to get learn continue in future.
Part2) SWOT analysis in order to achieved my short-term goal as well as long-term goal.
SWOT analysis is an effective tool it helps to assess as own skills, experience and
knowledge. On that basis easily prepared future plan along with career plan. Under strength
shows professional knowledge, qualification, specialised in specific areas etc. Weaknesses lot of
help in career because understands such things which has not posses such as skills and
qualification. Opportunities helps in career progress because they provides many chance to
achieved goal in near in future so gives lot of options are opened to developed career or choose
career path. Threat refers to personal traits hurting my career advancements.
In order to do my personal SWOT analysis, I have developed a questionnaire that is
filled by 5 respondents and is attached in appendix below:

 I have power to utilised my time and
work very well mannered.
 Take challenges and adaptability in
order to take risk.
 I am creative person because ability to
impress client and good in sales so
attract more customers easily.
 I communicate well with my
colleagues and client (Dacillo, 2018).
 I am too much perfectionist so reason
being some urgent work are delayed
not spend time with my family
members.
 I have take too much stress sometimes
because done too many task.
 I stage fear so get nervous when
presenting ideas in front of clients and
the fear of public speaking.

Opportunities Threats
 One of the greatest opportunity for me
I have done digital marketing course
 One of the greatest threat for me
current economic condition. Due to

so it give me new insight in my career.
 I have done professional course so
easily get job.
 I'm attending major marketing
conference next month so these help
me for strategic networking and offer
some great seminars.
COVID-19 has slow down growth for
the market position and industry.
 In present scenario, competition is too
high so difficult to attain good position
or job in future (Neel, 2020).
 I'm not good in speaking so other
individuals are good so these one of the
threat create lot of hurdles in my life.
Part3) Identify gaps and explains other option which helps to successfully achieved career goal.
There are so many gaps which affect my future plan and carer goals. So they various
options are available which helps to fulfil such kind of gaps like personal development course,
communication skills and presentation skills etc. There are so many certification courses like
hotel management course, financial course and human resources certification. I feel all the
certification course helps me give more Carrera options as well as job options available. In
present context, competition is too high and economic condition also affect careers such as
increasing unemployment. There are many courses are available so I want to learn such skills
and doing courses so its kind of bridge to fulfil gaps which are mentioned below (Romich,
2018).
Communication skills-: I want to learn communication skills and remove public
speaking fear. These skills includes ability to speak, write and listen. With these skill help in my
job also and understand what other are saying and feeling so easily convey the ideas and
feelings. This can help to interact better with someone in relation to get better opportunities.
Presentation skills-: I have take training for these skill in order to effectively present in
business meeting and conference. These kind of skills help in my career goals and career
progress also as well as these kind of skills mainly utilise in corporate sector because dealing
client so give presentation in more attractive way.
Problem solving skill-: Problem solving skill is refers to which not provides specific
training programme but it is a ability to handle challenging or surprising situations. Good
problem solver it's ability and capability in order to easily handle situation and assess all their
options to find the best solutions. I want to learn these kind of skills because faces so may

situation in lives which I handle, faces and learn so many thing so it is good failures always
learns so many thing and face them but not repeated in future due to I always focused on today
and tomorrow (Solomons, 2016).
Leadership quality-: Leadership quality is ability to influencing other thoughts and lead
them. It is power to managed things in very well mannered and guide people. Good leader
always motivated others and help them to reached goals along with they build confidence and
improve morale. I posses such kind of quality which gives me more career options and
effectively utilize these quality to attain my short term and long term goal. These kind of quality
if posses so help me in career achievement and as count in my strengths.
I attending such training sessions and courses which helps opened more career option and gives
me new strength so which are discuss below.
Human resources management course-: These course is more important for
professional students it covers all the measures topic such as economics, finance, general
management, information systems, marketing, organisation behaviour, production, operations
etc. I want to joined these course for which gives new hike to my career and these course have
specific time period for 1 year so it is specific specialisation course. These kind of course
provides me lot of job opportunities such as HR assistant, recruiter, Training development
coordinator, payroll specialist, payroll manger, human resources manager and many more. These
course accomplished within 1 year and after get certificate as well as so many reputed
universities offered these course (Workplace Committee, 2019).
Therefore, it includes all kinds of career option which help in my future and easily attain my
career goals and objectives. There are involves so many skills and courses which provides core
competencies to other and also help in personality development.
Part4) Evaluates 5 SMART goals which provides clear vision for career.
SMART is refers to which is firstly use in November 1981 issue of management review
by George T. Dorn.
 I want to use these strategy when set goals and objectives in order to effectively
achieved. Here , use SMART techniques when I set goals for my life which are discuss
below.
 I am currently working in corporate sector as marketing executive so my specific goal is
to become head of marketing.

 Second is measurable goal so acquiring those skill which helps for me to become head of
marketing on that basis I have completed necessary training courses and gaining relevant
experience.
 Third is achievable I have learn those courses which increases my effectiveness and
course accomplished specific criteria so easily attain my specific goal.
 Fourth is relevant which is relevant for these profile only acquiring such skills and course
on right time.
 Fifth and these last stage which said that when I decides my all goals so should be
completed within time frame these is my last objective so attain goal at specific time
frame (Guilmett, 2017).
It is recommended that there is need to use different goal option in which there should be
choice of better role that can help to get better. In this, there is need to achieve the goal that is
there in relation to get best of the career plan which is there in the right time for better time
frame with better result and career goal. These are the goals that is able to provide better and
clear vision for the life.
CONCLUSION
From the above reports it has been concluded that skills are essential to each and every
one because it helps to attain specific goals and objectives in future. There are various career
options available but choose them one which is best help in career progress as well as analysed
personal SWOT which gives new insight. There are so many career gaps which face difficulty to
attain goals in future so study about more skills and get knowledge of them along with set
SMART goals.
