INTRODUCTION Literature review is a part of research which help in explaining that what the research is all about and what the research want to convey. It is a theoretical part which is used for detailing about the specific topic on which research is all about. The role of literature review is very important in research and dissertation, as it's approval make that the research or thesis is in right direction. Equality at work place refers equal and same rights and opportunities provided by an organisation to their employees, so that they do not feel like they are facing some type of discrimination in organisation (Assiter, 2017). Following research will help in getting knowledge about the specific issues explained by literature review, along with scope and appropriateness of it. Along with this, different view point of authors will come in study. ASSESSMENT 2 1. Literature Review and its purpose Literature review is a describing paper that detail about the information about the field of study along with related and authenticated findings. This also consist of theoretical description of the research and data over specific topic. Literature review is a part in research which is build up of data which is collected via secondary research method and this part do not have any type of experimental or practical work. In general terms, this part is written by academic – oriented literature and these articles are commonly found in academic books and journals. This help in providing important and authenticated base to a research on a special topic. Literature review is one of the most important part of academic work of graduation and post – graduation. It is also an essential tool for making some articles for journals, thesis and dissertations. Literature review is one the most important and necessary part of thesis, and dissertations, where research proposals get created and it is needed to get approval of it. After getting this approval only the thesis and dissertation get started. This also help in summarizing and explaining the current status of the research on a specific topic (Johnson and et. al, 2016). The main focus of Literature review is on determining the main point and perceptions of author, that what are their intentions behind their articles. At university level, there are two types of literature reviews which are asked by their students for writing. First of these two is stand – alone assignment and the other one is written descriptively, which is a part of introduction in a research project, dissertation or thesis. It is importantforresearchertoidentifydifferentdatasourceswhichareusedearlierbyother researchers, so that their research get better and more authenticated. It is very important for a researcher to review their part of literature review, as this help them in knowing that what come before and what will and what will not be help full for another individuals. Literature review is a part which help in knowing the abilities and understanding of the researcher.

Also, the main reason behind the literature review is to describe and establish the information over the subject. Also it help in explaining each point, that what it want to say. The main goal of literature review is to detail about the ground level information on a particular topic. The main aim of the part of literature review is to identify the additional requirements for research. 2. Literature review on the topic “Equality in the workplace” A survey of books, articles and other sources which can give information or some data about a specific topic is known as Literature review. It help in making description, summary and critical evaluation of that study, and then related research questions get analysed. Also, there are some problems which are associated with literature review, one of them that, it is a long, continuous and huge time consuming process, which get compiled over the research work. Along with this, the anther major problem is literature review has become one of the most common and prime method of collecting data in the historical research. Along with this, the scope of literature review get vary and fluctuates at every single point in the research which directly depends on the specific topic. Literature review can be a piece of huge work or can be a single and alone article. Literature review use to concentrates on themes, approaches, methodologies, theories and frames. That's why, literature review is said to be the most important part of every research, thesis or dissertation. According to theO'Flaherty and Phillips (2015), Equality refers to honest and fair treatment whichisgiventopeoplerelatedtotheirgender,opportunities,rights,impairment,belief, nationality, age and sexuality. At work place, equality refers to providing equal opportunities, and chances to the employees of organisation and do not have any policy of differentiation among their employees. This is very much required for superiors of organisation to treat every one equally, without any discrimination. Equality at the place of working refers to provide equal rights to their employees for satisfy the basic needs, along with their demands of development. According to Laski, Equality means that, it is very much important for organisation that they do not treat their employees according to their society and rituals or by their cast. It is also important for them to to respect each and every employee according to their designations and must get equal respect as other get along with rights in organisation which are necessary for them. Equality in work place is very important as it increase the respect of individual's beliefs, backgrounds or practices, and also analyse the importance of a diversity approaches to a problem. This help an organisation to increase the flexibility at work place, so that their employees can give their best and perform better. It also help in knowing the roles and responsibilities which each and every employees which they has to play for achieving the goals and objectives. According to D.D Raphall, It is required for organisation to have a clear process which use to deal with complaints and issues faced by their stakeholder regarding to equality. It is also very essential for them to have equality policies so that they can easily make proper and same rights. Making equality in business environment help employees in creating a peaceful environment, which lead them to create proper opportunities for them, which can help in growing and developing themselves. While on other hand, still now it is not very easy for any organisation] to make a proper set of quality at their work place, where each and every employee have equal right. Also, due to internal and external factors also it is not easy for any organisation to have proper and complete equality in their organisation (Lai and Hong, 2015). Literature review is also known as study of research, and the main purpose of this is to analyse the relationship and connection between differentworksandfunctions. Alongwiththis,literaturereviewisadetailedpartofthe bibliography, which have details about the different authors and their definitions, which they have provided over a specific topic. Making a proper analysis in this part of research help in reducing the errors and also help in identifying the issues and problems that will come during research. When it come to the scope of literature review it is very vast in nature, but it is needed to get evaluated by principle work, which is important in the field. An organisation need to face some limitations and issues only because of lack in equality in work place. These problem include, unsolved conflicts,
different culture, different thinkings and opinions. This all can create huge problem for organisation if they have discrimination in their premisses. For an organisation, it is not only their duty or it is not the duty of their leaders and managers to maintain the equality in their organisation for employees, it is very important for them to have support from government of nation along with a strong structure of equality management. Making equality in organisation, increases the clarity among employees about the roles and responsibilities, which help employees in improving their performance. Lack in agreements of equality can decrease the interest of employees with in the organisation. By providing proper set of equalityinanorganisation,employeesgetequalandsameopportunitiesforgrowingand developing themselves, which help them in improving their job satisfaction. It also help employees in getting motivated and also help them in knowing that how other employees are getting motivated (Ding, Wei and Mollohan, 2016). It is very important for an organisation to have leaders and managers who can follow the set of equality in organisation in proper manner, so that the reputation of organisation get improved in market. All this help in improving the sales of organisation and also applying concept of equality can help them in showing their beliefs and compliance to the public. Therefore, it is important for organisation to have equality at work place, as it help in making employees happy, which can lead to introducing many positive outcomes in the organisation (Tran, 2015). This also help in achieving the desired goals and objectives for employees as well as for organisation as well. CONCLUSION From the above research, it has been concluded that literature review is very important part of a research as well as for dissertations and for thesis also. It is required for a researcher to make a proper literature review on their topic, so that the research get completed in effective manner. Along with this, it is theoretical part what is made up by the study of different articles published over inline sources, newspapers, blogs and etc. Literature review is the part which can be said as article of research or dissertations, which are required to be get approval, so that the direction of research do goes wrong. The above research is about “Equality at work place”, and equality refers to providingsameandequalopportunitiesandrespecttotheiremployees.Thisincreasethe satisfaction of employees and also help in making a peaceful environment in organisation.
