Study on Skin to Skin Contact of Newborn as Standard of Care During the First 24 Hours of Life

The aim of this project is to critically examine the evidence-based practice of skin to skin contact of newborn babies with their mothers as a standard of care during the first 24 hours of life. The project addresses the lack of knowledge and implementation of skin to skin contact, and provides suggestions and educational needs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
