Slide 5INTEGRATION METHODSVertical IntegrationStar IntegrationHorizontal integrationhere are 3 methods of integrationwhich are like vertical, star andhorizontal. Integration of varioussubsystems according to theirfunctions with the development ofstructural entities called silos aredone in vertical integration. Thismethod is cheap as well asintegration in it is very fast.Star integration is a systemintegration process where everysystem is connected with the left outsubsystems and when integration isobserved, it appears like star. Thismethod is very flexible also.Horizontal integration is akind of method where specializedsubsystem is there to makecommunication among differentsubsystems. This system supports incutting cost of integration andprovides good flexibility.
