Task 2 :Preparation of business plan
to manage the changes
A business organisation can implement change management by following Eight steps of Kotter’ model of
change. For any business organisation, the basic thing to implement changes is setting up an environment for
change.
Montana Bakery experienced a decline in profit margin, and gross profit and so the urgency of changes is to
be understood by the employees and business operator. The urgency is to be increased for that purpose.
Team management is highly important in this case(Wolf, 2014). The operator should prepare a team for the
implementation of changes.
The right vision is to be understood by the employees to set the implementation process on the right track.
The task is to be divided among small parts and to distribute the responsibilities like plant development,
technology uses, and training classes’ arrangements among all members of the team.
Preparing the employees so that they can understand their enlarged responsibilities to meet new
expectation. Short term goals are to be set so that the achievement can be assessed.
The employees are needed to understand the reason of why they have started, and so for that reason, it
should be made stick(Sheehan, 2014).
