INTRODUCTIONSmall business enterprise which is very important for this country as it promoteseconomic development as well as maintaining standard lives of every individual. This is thereason for which understanding the concept of small business enterprise is very important. Therewould be large percentage of market share of SBE in UK. At the time of recession thesebusiness class sector has basically helped in changing the scenario (Ackermann, Audretsch andeds., 2013). Due to presence of so many micro and small enterprise this country has faced majorthreat to their economy factor. This business has distributed the risk factors in various divisionsso that not one section should take all the pressure and everyone together can take those shocks.Usually these enterprises are owned by entrepreneurs which are supported by Companies Act2006 which states that if the organisation has turnover more than 6.5 million pounds or less thanthat will be considered as small business enterprise. This report is based on Nisa which is anaward winning group that is an independent retailer that is flourishing in retail market throughdistributing the quality food. Their basic ethics is to support communities in UK by encouragingindependent retailers to make true difference to their local area. Main purpose of this report is toanalyse the functioning of SBE and how they basically impact various factors of the country.TASK 11.1 Profile of Nisa Retail and their strength and weaknesses.Nisa Retail in UK is based on small business enterprise that is growing very fast at a veryhigh-speed due to innovation and creative approach which is related to various issues connectingto other organisation. This is a retail limited which is a leading brand or buying group today ofmany retailers and wholesalers of UK. This firm uses its collective buying power of large groupmembers that would negotiate and deal with suppliers (Altman, Sabato and Wilson, 2010.).This company represents over approximately 1,080 registered shareholders which wouldbe operating over 4,000 convenience store and also small supermarkets. This would be includingthe Cost cutter symbol group. They are operating in 20 stores under the brand name of CK Foodstores.This firm has crossed over 3 million pounds of turnover approximately and also isexpected to cross mark of 6 million soon. They have been receiving big contracts from many bigagencies to support their PR team and communication across the globe. This is very good team1
of media which extends support to improve their communication skills and handle such taskswith ease. This organisation has actually sold their shares to other companies for achieving somesupport but still the main motto remains the same. This firm is basically able to provide somekind of strategic planning which includes, creativeness and digital services to the customer.Basically, this firm has some SMART targets which help them to achieve their goals which theyhave described at starting stage (Bellucci, Borisov and Zazzaro, 2010). Recently this company isorganizing and managing staff of more than 40 people which are placed into differentdepartments. They are responsible for measuring their performance to calculate the Gap whichexist in their actual capabilities and desired in abilities. This firm could be facing stiffcompetition from existing players that are present already as Hot-wire and Say communication.There can be so many threats which is caused due to upcoming of new entrants. PRindustry basically do not require huge investment because this is actually dependant onnetworking that is the reason there can be so many players in this field. This firm would beanalysing the performance of employees which are working for the firm and their cost ofoperation (Bridge and O'Neill, 2012). Financial reports, profits, returns on investment, marketshare and even customer satisfaction level with employee motivational level needs to adapt somechanges which can be used to indicate which state is used for improving and analysingperformance level and make any changes in organisation if necessary (Burns, 2010).
