Executive Summary
The report is prepared for the development of an application for Shire city council smart car
parking system. The platform is required to be selected for starting the development of the
application. A comparison is made between the web application, mobile application and
website for development of the smart car parking system. The requirement of the shire city
council is analyzed by arranging stakeholder meetings with the council members and the best
possible solution is suggested for the starting the development of the application. The
functional and the non-functional requirement should be identified and a development
methodology should be selected for the development of the smart car parking application. A
work breakdown structure is created for identification of each of the phases of the project and
recommendation is given for the development of the project.
