Research Title: “To identify reasons behind increasing the adoption of ‘smart’ mobile
devices along with its impact on mental health of generation Y”

INTRODUCTION
Mobile phones have gotten the chance not just to communicate electronically, as well
as many other useful functions like as capturing images and videos, listening to music,
playing a game, browsing the Internet, and etc. Unexpectedly, spending too much time on a
cellphone was not linked to bad mental health. "A individual daily mobile usage or television
viewing did not anticipate anxiousness, despair, or stress symptoms. There are so many
reasons that has been analysed that the current generation and the teens who spend their too
much time with the gadgets are lead to more stress, anxiety and more depression. Apart from
this, excessive utilization of smartphones enhances or increase risk of mental problems. This
research is going to focusing on the analysing the reasons behind the adoption of the smart
mobile phones along with its impact on mental health of generation Y.
