INTRODUCTION
Managing small and medium sized business demands new start up ideas to be
innovatively implemented within competitive industry, where UK has large number of start-ups
around world having high scale new products and services. Recently, small and medium sized
businesses are increasing in numbers based on capital structure and productive new advancement
goals within products and services for extended consumer markets. Verdant Leisure has been
taken in this report, which is a bespoke holiday park operator self-catering holidays and has
ownership across Scotland and UK. The report will identify varied procedures used in operations
by company, business concept and sources of competitive advantage which further plays strong
role for operative innovation. Study will also further discuss challenges faced, current growth

Nature of entrepreneur behind venture
Verdant was established in 2010, by management team led by Chief executive, Graham
Hodgson with move to acquire holiday and leisure park across Southern Scotland and Norhern
England. Enterprise has been expanding towards functional rise aspects based on ideas to further
diversify extensive corporate services with high spacious lodge facilities, bringing best quality
services as per customer’s preferences. Entrepreneur has high innovative business skills,
creative working mindset and also competent diversity aspects evolving to establish Verdant
Leisure as one of the most functionally growing holiday park company. The passion to
productively bring new services within enterprise, has further generated high business
competencies rapidly, with determinants correlated and based on functional work operatives
significantly. Leadership, marketing skills are also competently strong for further stakeholder’s
engagement in businesses and to further diversify extensive competitive investments (Top 10
