Effective strategies can help to attain business competency provided if the
execution is done appropriately. The study is also centered around this theme. It
talks about Snow Monkey, a United States-based Ice Cream maker. The ice cream
maker as found in the study did have a good study of the market. As a result, it
arrived at an idea to offer healthy ice creams to consumers. The effort was to take
advantage of growth opportunities. As found in the study, Snow Monkey followed a

INTRODUCTION: A BRIEF OUTLINE OF SNOW MONKEY
Snow Monkey is a US-based ice cream company. It began doing business in
the year 2017. It was different from traditional ice cream makers in ingredients to
be used in ice creams. It began tapping the rising opportunity in healthy ice creams.
Snow Monkey positioned its image as a maker of healthy ice creams. It offered a
variety of such products as paleo5 products made of plant-based ingredients. Snow
Monkey adopted a natural recipe to make ice creams free from allergens. The
mission of the company can be summarised as offering tasty but healthy ice creams
that are great for people as well as the environment. Snow Monkey intended to
fulfill the needs of the paleo community in the United States. It helped the company
to boost its sales. The company was later named as a Frontier in Food. The
recognition won it US$25,000 and mentoring from the Chobani's management
team. Currently, the operations got bigger as it expanded to 1,200 retail locations
(Snow-monkey.com, 2019).
CENTRAL SECTION:
This section does a critical analysis of the strategy of Snow Monkey. In doing
so it first talks about its current strategy. It later discusses the current competitive
