1. Clarify the problem
1.1 Gather information
Social Housing is basically define any kind of rental housing that may be owned or
managed by state, by non-profitable enterprise. Social housing is kind of key idea in order to
provide the more affordable property for individuals. Usually, it become a more secure, long
term tendency. This is great option for large number of people to give better rental service, rights
and more control over their home. In this project, it will gather, collect information about social
housing, identifies the causes or implications on families.
Over last decade, Council housing has been helping the most vulnerable in society to gain
access of home. Usually, it can be resolved the issue or problem of families those are facing a
homeless. The cause of social housing is culture or traditions of individual people within society
or community (Forde, Hopfe and Evins, 2020). Moreover, it is also gathering the social housing
and common problem related Wicked. This is one of the social or cultural issue and difficult to
resolve in possible manner. Wicked problem can arise due to lack of clarity in both aim and
solution. For Example- Homelessness situation may arise and directly linked to the wicked
problems such as social housing crisis.
1.2 Recognise Complexity
In above analysis, it has been gathering the information of complex problem such as
wicked issue. A wicked problem is favoured by policy makers to explain an issue that is not
complex but at certain point, it is highly contested and unpredictable (Gadd, 2010). It is very
important to fix one aspect of it and might have created other additional problem. There is no
classic example of “wicked problem” than social housing.
On the basis of discussion, it has been recognised the complexity of social housing crisis
which are majorly affected the different stakeholders. In order to tackle complex social housing
problem that would require to establish a strong coordination, support of many people. Wicked
problem can be increased by social housing crisis and high degree of uncertainty. For Example-

According to complex theory, it has been recognised the “wicked problem” by social
housing crisis in London. It is a realist epistemology in sense that systems or phases spaces are in
regards of real rather than its social construction. Although, social enterprise is mainly focused
on the wicked problem and try to resolve by using appropriate solutions. On the basis of complex
theory, it has been predictable, sign that it is either in steady sate, identify causes of social
housing crisis (Haddad and et.al., 2019). Nowadays, it has been changing the preferences,
demand of individual peoples. Therefore, it automatically increase the wicked problem in today’s
society include things such as financial crisis, income disparity etc. if in case, it is not resolved
the wicked problem at immediately, otherwise it is likely to generate other kind of problems. In
this way, it is very important to find reason behind wicked problem and identifies that social
housing. This is one of the causes of wicked problem but it can be managed or controlled with
better solution.
1.3 State the Problem
Being a developer team, it has been realised that “wicked problem” arise because of social
housing crisis. But it can be resolved by encouragement of large populations those are showing
interest on social housing. In order to realise that increases the social housing crisis in London
and government will not support for local stakeholders to reduce level of failure (Marchesi and
Tweed, 2021). At that time, other problem identified related social or cultural due to the
inequalities. Wicked problem is also similar issue which may directly affecting the concept of
social housing approaches in community or society.
On the basis of analysis, social housing crisis would be very difficult for low-income class
people and it could still make differences. Some people who needs an affordable social housing
but they were unable to pay rent. At that time, it may arise wicked problem as social or cultural
issue. For Example- organisations provide the social housing for those people who can give the
