DISCUSSIONSocial cognition is related to social psychology which lays special emphasis behaviour ofpeople in different social situations. It focuses on how people store, process and appliesinformation in different real-life situations. It is focused on cognitive behaviour whichcontributes in social interactions. In the similar aspect, intellectual capabilities of humansdirectly allow pooling of resources and sharing within community.According toVelenturf &Jensen, 2016, social seeking helpshuman beings in contributing valuable resources with themotive of pooling them. It reflects components of moral equality, psychology as it denotesindividual behaviour with reference to cognition. However, effort and luck played significantrole for wealth acquisition where phenotypic along with cultural similarity raise desirability forpooling resources. It is because individuals believe that when luck is noteworthy resourcetransfer is more favoured. In accordance with study, it is determined that land fertility determinesdegree of social transfer. This can be justified with statement that greater inequality in landfertility increases proportion of resource transfer. But when land fertility is equal there is lesstransfer of resources. Luck factor is thefeature which derives efforts that needs to be incorporated for managing parity among resources. In contrast as per the views ofCao & et.al., 2016, belief and luck depend on socialoutcomes but on the other hand fertility of land does not depend on luck. Sharing of resourcesand information among people helps the individual in fulfilling needs of each other which alsoreflects their social cognition. Thus, it can be stated that pooling helps in eliminating risk ofscarcity of resources. However, the present study on social cognition and resource transfer1
