These conditions include economic, social and political policies, systems and society beliefs and development plans (Morteza & Mohasti, 2008). Does Social determinants of Health have a global application? Yes. This is because each and every individual anywhere in the globe deserve the chance to choose a better way to lead them to good health. The way in which people engage themselves in social, political and economic systems determines their health status. Resources such as safe and good housing, getting education, security, emergency services and free viral surroundings will always determine the quality of life each individual lives. The place where each individual live will promote his health if there will be resources to cater for daily needs, health care services given in the right quality, quality education given, enough security, proper use of technology and practicing the health supporting norms. Which determinants are most important for health in America? The most important determinants for health in America include education, security, housing, business policies, media and transport. This is because if people are educated, it will be easy for them to deal any condition which can lead to poor health. If enough security is given, that will make it easy to offer health and emergency services when needed. Proper housing will keep people away from cold diseases. Good business policies will not allow people to sell unauthorized good and this will keep away risk to diseases. Media can also be used to educate people on the issues which risk one’s life. Michael Marmot a professor of public health argued out that the gap between health o people is due to society features not due to differences in treatment or the health services given. The surrounding in which people dwell determines their health status, if they apply any change in their environment then their health status improves too. People do not select their health condition but their social position cater for this. If the environment the stay in does not promote health services, they will get health problems and hence low quality of living standards. (Wilkinson & Marmot, 2005)
