Introduction to the organization
The organization will be aiming to deliver home based healthcare facilities to the veteran
and ageing population along with community based social services. The organization will be
primarily operating in Wales, UK while providing the essential services to the communities and
the veteran households. More specifically, the organization will be operating in the North and
Northeastern districts of Wales. The organization would take the initiative of competent, resilient
and well-trained employees and staffs with the purpose of improving the rate of operations of the
enterprise. The organization will be limited liability venture which would be primarily owned by
its principal investors and hierarchy of management.
The primary consumers of the service would be specifically the veteran communities that
live in the outskirts of the city and are looking for home based health care services. On the other
hand, the secondary consumers of the organization would be specifically the people who are
facing significant amount of healthcare related concerns in the society and communities. The
patients would be specifically recommended to the organization through different physicians,
pharmacists, insurance agencies and healthcare facilities. The organization would thereby aim
towards developing relation with the different professionals with the purpose of sourcing more
consumers towards the designated services.
Benefits and challenging aspects of the social enterprise
The major benefits of the social enterprise will be:
Lower amount of healthcare service providers in the area: It has been observed that
there are lower amount of healthcare service providers in the regions, specifically those
offering home-based healthcare solutions. The lower amount of home-based healthcare

service providers in the region would help in ensuring the effectiveness of the services.
The lower availability of alternative services in the northern or northeastern regions of
Wales would allow the organization in gaining a competitive position.
Provision of diverse range of healthcare services: the different range of healthcare
services will be specifically aimed towards catering to the emerging care needs among
the individuals. The diverse range of propositions would allow the organization in
gaining significant position in the markets. Again, the growing rate of aging population
in Wales also holds a greater opportunity for the development and growth of the social
enterprise. The proposition of diverse range of services would aim at adhering to the
healthcare and primary care based needs of the veteran population. Again, the increasing
growth of the consumers for the service would allow the organization in improving their
market scope.
Support from the government and the state authorities: Lastly, the social enterprise
would gain huge support from the government and the State authorities of Wales as the
organization would aim at catering to the healthcare based needs of the veteran or ageing
population. The not-for profit based motif, the proposition of wide range of distinguished
services and employing professionals for providing the services might be considered as
the major attributes that would lead the social enterprise towards support from the
government and the State authorities.
The major challenges that might be encountered by the social enterprise will be:
The challenge in sourcing skilled professionals: Sourcing high skilled professionals for
different therapeutic and other healthcare treatments might be challenging for the
organization. At the initial levels of the social enterprise’s establishment, minimal flow of

funds would affect the capability of the organization in providing the professionals with
handsome remuneration for the services. It might affect the capability of the organization
in retaining the commitment of the skilled professionals. Again, the absence of skilled
and experienced professionals in the market might restrict the competency of the
organization in improving the service delivery process while adhering to the healthcare
based needs of the clients or patients. Therefore, the absence of skilled professionals
would create a disruptive situation towards the organizational propositions.
The absence of surety in the funding mechanisms: The absence of surety in the funding
mechanisms will be specifically based on the doubts that the investors might have, at the
initial phase, while investing on the organization. The absence of stability of the
organization in competitive markets would minimize the scope for the concerned venture
in empowering the trust among the investors. The absence of trust among the investors
would incapacitate the organization while persuading the stakeholders to make
investments in the different operations that the entity is planning to develop. The
uncertainty of funding mechanisms might disrupt the uninterrupted flow of operations of
the organization.
Vision, mission and governance
Vision
The vision of the organization will be to establish themselves as the best healthcare providing
social enterprise in Wales while making dynamic expansion in the other regions.

The vision statement of the organization might be established through the continuous
improvements in the quality of the services that are being proposed by the venture and inclusion
of new healthcare services in strict adherence to the emerging care based needs. The growth of
the organization would be based on the effective positioning the services to the communities and
the continuous improvement in the quality of the services in accordance with the changing health
care needs of the patients.
Mission
The mission of the organization will be to provide excellent and affordable home- based health
care services to the veterans and different community-based social services to the individuals
and communities residing in the Northern and the Northeastern regions of Wales.
The mission of the organization might be accomplished through the recruitment of skilled
and experienced healthcare professionals who would cater to different care based needs of the
patients or the clients. Moreover, the active involvement of the different communities in the
awareness practices that will be considered by the business would significantly support the
establishment of the organizational mission. The active participation of the stakeholders in the
different practices would support the organization in gaining a competitive edge over the existing
health care service providers in the region.
Governance
The governance of the organization will be specifically based on the active participation
of an Administrative Director, two clinical directors, six staffs and a agency under contract
which would provide the organization with therapists, volunteers and healthcare professionals.
The predefined governance and management capabilities would allow the organization in
