INTRODUCTION Social awareness is the ability to take the perspective of and empathize with others. It is the ability to understand social and ethical norms for behaviour and to recognize family, school and community resources and supports. Social responsibility is an ethical theory in which individuals who are accountable for meeting their civic duty and their actions are also responsible for benefits the whole society. This report will define how social and ethical awareness and responsibilities have been developed through the workshop. MAIN BODY The project workshop was the medium which helped in developing and enhancing knowledgeregardingthesocialandethicalawarenessandresponsibility.Ethical responsibility is the ability which is used to recognize, interpret and act upon multiple principles and values according to the standards within selected domain. Social responsibility is ethical framework which brings benefits to the overall community (Aruguete, 2017q). In simpler terms, ethical responsibility is the duty where an individual follows a morally correct path. This workshop helped me in understanding that ethical awareness is the eagerness and ability to decide moral dilemmas and situations. Ethical awareness is essential in workplace as this helps individuals in focusing on performing their jobs without performing any unethical activity or practice. This workshop helped in developing ethical awareness through identifying an understanding the code of conduct of the organization and focusing on following all guidelines through which benefits can be availed at the workplace. This workshop helped in enhancing awareness related to ethical responsibilities which needs to be fulfilled for making better living standards. In order to be ethical, it is essential to take ownership of own actions and must act consistently with relevant laws and regulations. This workshop helped in understanding the value of social awareness which is reflected as the major component of emotional intelligence. This allows in understanding the feelings of a person and helps in having different perspective on a situation. However, social awareness is the ability to consider perspective of others who are belongs to different backgroundsandcultures(ĐurišićandBunijevac,2017).Inordertodevelopsocial responsibility, green practices must be adopted, and management must focus on creating workplace health and safety programs through which they can meet their responsibility
towards the community. By reducing energy consumption, avoiding wastage of resources, and keeping the surroundings clean, this can be helpful in meeting the social responsibility.in order to improve social awareness, an individual or an organization must pay attention and value active listening and observe the tone and body language of speaker (Garibay, 2018). As listening and observing are the main components of social awareness, it can be seen that these factors are the major services which are helpful in meeting social responsibility. CONCLUSION From the above report, it can be concluded that social and ethical responsibility is the responsibility of an individual which encourages people to meet all ethical standards and follow the ethical code of conduct through which they can offer benefits to the society. Ethical standards are the norms which defines morally correct code of conduct which should be followed in order to avoid unethical practices. Social awareness is the first step to personality development or self-development.
