INTRODUCTION
Social issue means those problems which affects people living within society. These are
based upon common problems existing within society. Further social issues is based upon
activities of an individual that cannot be controlled. These issues directly effects people of
particular country by impacting their lifestyle directly. In the essay three issues that has been
taken is freedom of movement, child labour and gender-based violence. Freedom of movement
means people moving freely as per there will within country and is not been barred by
government form doing so. Child labour within which children below the age of sixteen works
within shops or stores. Then come gender based violence that means those act tends to harm an
individual on the basis of gender. These issue requires to be discussed in detail in the essay and
has tendencies upon impacting functioning of society by disturbing its internal and external
environment.
MAIN BODY
Australia is one of the most developed nation and has very strong legal structure which
has helped in dealing with various social issues like freedom of movement, child labour a
gender-based violence. The Human Rights Act has made protection of every person within
Queensland in order to move freely and leave Queensland. Right to Freedom was developed as
per the treaty in 1980(Ruhullah and Qodir, 2020). The right was provided after formation of
United Nations Declaration in the year 1948. Freedom of movement is one of the most important
fundamental right which has been provided within article 12 of Australian constitution.
According to this, every person or individual has right to liberty over movement as well as
freedom for selecting residence. The article provides free will to leave any nation whenever feels
so. These rights that has been mentioned which should not be subject over any kind of
restriction, other than those which are provided by legislations, essential to safeguard public
order, morals, national security, public health or in those matters impacting right to freedom with
other fundamental rights. This right cannot be deprived from an individual living within society.
Further, as per the article, all citizens should be free to move from one place to another and select
a residential place within a country without any restrictions that includes founding over purpose
which is connected with security. The only restriction that has been mentioned within
artiocle12(3). The government has duty upon ensuring that a person has restriction upon private
