The trend of social media are become very popular for the young generation in order to
get lots of information from the one platform (Wong, Pakpour and Lin, 2020). On the other hand
there are so many negative impact of it while people are using social media for long period. It
has been analysed that there are many sleeping disorder are seen in the youngsters because
people are looking into in the bed time are making it harder to fall asleep and due to this it can
affect the sleeping pattern by reducing the amount of time for sleeping and that can impacted
unfreshened the next day (Kelly, Booker and Sacker, 2018). When the poor sleep pattern of
people are affect the wake times and also trouble while sleeping. That is why students are not
able to focus on their studies and getting busy with social media such as Instagram, whatsapp etc.
There are so many factors that are seen due to this such as having the family problem because
sleep cause all the problem regarding the mental health and that is why it creates sadness, stress,
psychological problems etc. Moreover there are so many other problems are seen in people such
as tension, anxiety or depression. The mental condition of people are changed due to sleeping
disorder and hormonal changes are affect the sleep cycle. There are so many youngsters who
have faced the issues regarding insomnia and depression. Further, by facing lots of problem
people are started using drugs and alcohol that affect the mental as well as physical health.
Further, it has been recommended that students should not use the mobile before sleeping, and
also they can use the mobile app which are restricted time under parental control (Alonzo,
Stranges and Anderson, 2021). Lastly, people should focus on meditation and exercise so that it
can help them to calm and better sleeping pattern these solution can be help youngster for
improving the sleeping pattern.
