SOCIAL POLICY•Social policy is the policy which is designed by the government or political influences and it includes welfare state and study of social services (Cresswell, 2016). •Social policies include several guidelines, principles, legislation and several activities through which human welfare can be influenced and quality of life can be improvised.•Some scholars have categorized the social security systems on the basis of modes of intervention such as universalism, social insurance, social assistance and so on. •Social policy is an academic discipline which helps in evaluation of societies through which socialresponses can be managed. •It is very important to design social policies so that certain amount of discipline can be implemented in the society and it can be evolved over a period of time.•Some scholars have categorized the social security systems on the basis of modes of intervention such as universalism, social insurance, social assistance and so on. •Each social welfare system have a mixture of all the elements study delighted to the society. •Certain universal principles have been designed to understand the society and implement social policies.
