INTRODUCTIONDifferent people have diverse set of perception towards the situations that are faced bythem. Further, it is identified that there are different type of researches that are carried out bypeople on the behavioural changes. In this context, it includes perception or the behaviour thatare carried out at individual and at groups (Kountouriotis, Thomopoulos and Papelis, 2014 ). Thepresent report covers review of the original perspective on crowd behaviour by Lebon. Further, itcovers new theoretical social identity account proposed by Reicher and colleagues and itsreflection on interactionism. Lastly, it also includes evaluation of different implications of thetwo accounts which are for research and for practice.Original perspective on crowd behaviour by LeBonIn accordance with the research conducted by LeBon, it was identified that person who isalone is not aware of things and they not have any idea what has to be done. Further, it can alsobe stated that there are no rules and no restrictions. On the other hand, when a person is in group,then they are conscious and they know about the requirement and the steps that they have to take(Stott, Reicher, 2014 ). The type of behaviour that is carried out by individuals at groups isdifferent. People are able to perform their set of roles in effective manner and show up moreconfidence level and their perception towards the things will be positive. Further Reicher’s statedthat people in the groups act as single unit and when they have proper understanding with eachother, then it becomes favourable enough to support with each other’s so that they are able toachieve the desired goals and objectives. This theory proposed by Reicher’s is similar to that ofLeBon, they both state that the behaviour of individuals within groups is different but it ispositive. This is because individuals within the groups are able to show up confidence and sharecommon socials identity (Neville and Reicher, 2011). Further, there are different type of normsand aspects that are carried out by each of the individual. Like some of the people will bepeaceful, some may be conflictual, etc. These are developed depending upon the conditions,situation or bond that are carried out by people. In a groups, individual’s tents to focus ondeveloping a unique identify. They are able to focus on the areas in which they require skills tobe developed. When an individuals have certain set of skills and capabilities, then they are ableto develop then in positive manner. Further, get to know the skills that has to be developed. Eachand every person carry skills and capabilities and others may not (Hopkins, Reicher and1
