Using propinquity to win the affection and affection of the 17 year old dance crew member

I would advise my sibling to employ the following strategies to win the love and
affection of the 17 year old dancing crew member:
Given that my sibling admired the dance crew member alone has reasons most
probably he was attracted to her appearance and maybe he had seen her on several
occasions. This is traced back to the antecedents to attraction bringing the effect of
propinquity where the more we see and interact with people is the more we get more
close to them. So for him to win her love he will have to understand such aspects. The
more he familiarize with her leads to the exposure effect and the more one is exposed
to a stimuli the more they get to like it.
The advice would be based on observations to factor in the traits they have in
common both at personal and friend level. This traits could possibly match and this
outcome can aid in improving the relationship. This aspect is related to the proverb that
states, “Birds of the same feather flock together”, and therefore there will be high
chances of them being together given the similarity in traits (Murray et al., 2002). There
is also the aspect of complementarity where one gets attracted to those opposite them
such that she may feel attracted to my sibling at some point as they interact.
Another antecedent to attraction is similarity in opinion, so if they share same
opinions in different topics it can be a high chance of them getting even closer
(Newcomb et al., 1961). This is because similarity is an effect that cannot be assumed
as such people will enjoy their time together and it won’t be full of boredom. The
interpersonal characteristics of my sibling matters as they determine the relationship
between him and the dance crew member.
