RACE
INTRODUCTION
Race refers to a human classification system which is socially constructed to distinguish
between various group of people. This can relates with individual characteristics. It includes
individual skin, nationality, colour, national origin, ethnic and many more. In this topic, there is
discussion about race in sociology aspect. There is also discussion about some debate which can
provide the information about various race and minority group related with their discrimination
and stereotype. There is also discussion about real life example which can provide strong
evidence about social logical imagination regarding race. This topic also covers conflict theory to
interact about the interfacing real life example. This also includes the Equality Act 2010 which
provide protect protection against racism within society and can provide effective lifestyle
(Fuller, 2017).
MAIN BODY
According to social science race refers to various characteristics of individual according
to their nationality, skin colour, national origin and ethnic which can include black people,
British people, minority, ethnic people and Asian who are most likely to experience racial
prejudice along with discrimination. There is a stereotype about the race which includes different
inclusion of inequality across health and development. Due to inequality, different race of people
face different discrimination and some potential issues which can enable them to distinguish with
and large population and face difficulties. In this, there are the minority group who face
difficulty due to racism that may create discrimination and influence individual behaviour and
attitude regarding this. There is a racial belief and attitude where white people perform some
stigmatize ethnic background which create a stereotyping and influence for investigation about
the perception which are regarding different is group. There is also some negative racial
stereotype of hostility along with danger created by according to age and have the stereotype of
kindness and frailty (Fitzgibbon and et. al., 2021).
To minimize the impact of race and reduce discrimination there are some act was made
which includes Equality act 2010 emphasizes that individual must not be discriminated against
due to their race. In this, they should not be discriminated due to their nationality, colour or their
citizenship. They should be same as the current nationality.
