Introduction
Within any environment, there is a need of communication among the
individuals. In order to survive, people have to interact with one another and align
their interests in a way which are not conflicting with one another (Markovic and
Salamzadeh 2018). The purpose of this paper is to understand the issue of social
systems. In this respect, the importance of inter-generational and intercultural forms
of communication has been looked in to.
Discussion
Social style was first developed by two industrial scientists were the first one to
develop the concept of social style (YouTube, 2010). They believed that there was a
formal way in which the personality and behavior of an individual can be changed for
the better in the context of a formal organization.
There are two dimensions of behavior. The first behavorial dimension is that of
assertiveness. The more permission that an individual requires, they belong to the left
of the scale while the ones who assert themselves confidently belong to the right side
of the scale.
Another dimension observed is that of responsiveness behavior. There are people
who display emotions and closer to the both of the scale while those who control their
behavior, cluster at the top of the scale.
Combining both of them, a four quadrant model is developed. Driving style refers
to those who can control their responses and tele-assertive. Expressive style includes
those who display their emotions while being tele-assertive. Amiable style includes
those who display their style and ask permission while the analytical style includes
those who ask permission and control their emotions.

Within the Amiable quadrant, the display of emotions is highlighted. Within my
work place, I would urge my employees to be transparent with their thought process.
They need to vocalize the issues which are faced by them. With the rise in
multiculturalism whereby people belonging to various cultural background are seen to
be working in the same industry, there is a need to control emotions (Stanciu, Condrea
and Zamfir 2016). The individuals inherently have a certain set of prejudices within
them. This needs to be changed.
In order to bring about the installation of a positive work environment, the
application of tone is needed. In other words, when the individuals within the work
place are conversing with each other, they need to be careful of the kind of voice
modulation which they use to communicate with others (Motter and Santos 2017). In
the Amiable quadrant, the asking of permission has also been highlighted. This means
that before talking about a cultural element which is personal to the opposing person,
the concerned individual should speak in a respectful manner and try not to offend the
other.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be observed that the analysis of social system in important in
order to get an idea about the personality of the people. Within a work place, the
nature of communication that takes place is significant. A work place should be
harmonious and peaceful in nature so that there is an efficient execution of the
assigned work.
