Child social worker is to help the children in full assessment of the childs need. From the
assessment, a care plan for the children is developed by the social worker. In implementation,
a range of professionals can also be involved inorder to give a comprehensive report on the
childs need. A care plan by the social worker and the professionals tasked will determine the
interventions and support that should be given to child Asam in relation to the family
situation (Netting & Thomas, 2016).
The care plan by the social worker will determine the placement care that is most appropriate
to the needs of the child, education, health and the contact with the immediate family. The
care placements meets the need of the child that is coming into the care. The care social
workers duties include;
 Review, analysis and preparation of care plans.
 Consultation with the child under them and getting them an appropriate placement
that he/she is cormfotable.
 Taking into consideration the wishes of the family and the child also.
 Taking into consideration the health needs and educational needs of the child.
 Visiting placements inorder to ensure that the needs of the child are met
 Keeping in touch with the child
 Medical assessment and keeping health records of the child
 Planning the professional and career growth of the child.

Regualtion and policy implementation requires a child to be allocated a specific social worker
and a care plan to the child.
The purpose of social work is to provide an opportunity for all people to fully develop their
potential, enrich their lives and prevent life difficulties.
The activity of the social worker is aimed at maintaining, developing and rehabilitating
individual and social subjectness, while the social educator manages the upbringing of a
person in society (Cooper, M., & Lesser, J. G. (2014).
Social workers and social educators deal with the same problems, and their tasks are realized
in the same plane.
- the implementation of a set of measures for the upbringing, family, development and social
protection of the individual in familiess and at the place of residence of children);
- study of psychological, medical and pedagogical characteristics of the individual trainees

realizing the rights and freedoms of the individual trainees (pupils, children)

adults, activities aimed at the development of social initiatives, the implementation of social

The family can be regarded as a system that implements a number of important social
functions - reproductive, familial, socializing, psychotherapeutic, economic, etc. Distinguish
normally functioning and dysfunctional families. Normally functioning is called the family,
which responsibly fulfills its basic functions, as a result of which the basic needs are met and
the vital activity of the family as a whole and of each of its members is provided separately.
Sometimes, instead of functional and dysfunctional terms, the concepts of a prosperous and
dysfunctional family are used. This is done in cases where it is necessary to emphasize the

phenomena in the relationship and serious violations in the functioning of the family.
