INTRODUCTION
Social Work refers to a practice-based profession under which the social change within
the society is promoted and the appropriate initiatives are taken in order to ensure that the
attainment of the social goals and objectives in the future can be done in the right manner quite
effectively and efficiently (Bressi and Vaden, 2017). Therefore, it is important for the social
workers that they identify these goals and objectives and are able to take appropriate measures
which are required to attain them. This report will focus on Client Group of Women who are
currently experiencing violence perpetrated by a male partner. In this assignment, detailed focus
will be made on General argument on why the use of ethical philosophies is useful for the social
workers, ethical dilemma that might arise in work with the client groups. Additionally, specific
analysis on application of two ethical philosophies and one ethical decision-making model will
be made as a part of this assignment.

General Argument
Ethical philosophies are quite important to be used by the social workers as they can be
quite helpful for them in being able to ensure that they can identify their social goals and
objectives in the future and are able to take ethical decisions effectively and efficiently which
will lead towards the attainment of these social goals and objectives in a right way. For the social
workers, it is quite crucial that they are able to identify the ethical philosophy which has to be
used by them in order to be able to ensure that they can take a wide range of ethical decisions in
a proper manner (Danso, 2018).
Therefore, it can be argued that the use of these ethical philosophies can be made so that
the social workers are able to take appropriate steps which can help them to be able to ensure that
they can manage their social work in a right manner (Weinberg, 2016).
For the social workers who are working for eradicating Domestic Violence in Australia, it
is important that they identify the problems of the women who face this particular issue due to
the behavior of their male partners. Therefore, this will help the women in ensuring that they are
able to speak up against Domestic Violence issue which they are facing which will be quite
helpful for them in ensuring that appropriate steps can be taken for dealing with it in the right
manner.
Thus, it can be argued that through making the use of ethical philosophies the social
workers can make sure that they are able to bring the use of ethics within their decision-making
process and are able to ensure that the appropriate decisions can be taken by them. Therefore, it
can be said that for these social workers it is highly necessary that the application of the ethical
