Reflection
Which skills you have developed and which skills is required to be learned to meet person
specification
Many skills are required to become the social worker in which I have developed only some skills
which are important in the initial. I have developed to have the communication with people as it
is requires the most in the social worker. Effective communication is very important because this
will help in influencing the society and will lead to big changes in the society. For learning this
skill I have interacted with many people and have taken the feedback from the people so that if
any changes has to be made I will work on it. The second most important skill which I have
learned is the organization as the social worker has to manage many things and have to visit
many places for this proper organization is very essential. It is the most important skills which
needs to be developed by every social worker. For developing this skill I have tackled many
situations and have managed it effectively. I have worked under social activists and have
managed the schedules. Critical thinking is also required to become social worker which is
eternal also and can also be developed by gaining the knowledge of all the challenges and to find
out the solution.
Those skills which are required to be developed by me is to listen more of the things
which people are saying and to become the solution provider if any person is facing any
difficulty. Convincing and influencing people is also important because this is the only way by
which people will have trust on me and with my work which I will do for them. To gain the
knowledge of human psychology which will required to understand what they want from the
society.
