Aristotle’s ethics has been criticized for not giving a sufficient guidance in terms of what
we should do when it comes to conducting ourselves in the world for all kinds of reasons.
This assignment will explain the disagreement or the agreement with the claim of
Aristotle’s theory regarding its explanation to the humankind towards adequate concrete
guidance of ethics. The thesis statement of this essay argues that, even though the ethical theory
suggested by Aristotle is distinct from other theoretical sciences and take the virtues to be
Central towards a well living life of humankind, the theory of virtue ethics by Aristotle is useless
and does not give clear guidance of philosophy and ethical decision to humankind for all kind of
reasons (Polansky 12).
It is to note that the context of ethics is studied to improve the living of humankind and
hence the principal concern is the nature of the wellbeing of human. Aristotle follows the breach
of Plato and Socrates regarding the concept of virtue and understanding of goodness. According
to the ethical theory by Aristotle, human need proper appreciation of way like pleasure, good
friendship, honor, wealth and virtue as a whole. For application of the general understandability,
it is essential to acquire proper habits, un- bringing as well as the ability to see the best actions
that are supported by enough reasons (Crisp). Aristotle’s view regarding the ethical theories as
well as practical wisdom cannot be acquired specifically by the general learning of the rules. For
the achievement of understanding of his theoretical sciences in the field of ethical theory, is
important to acquire emotional, deliberative as well as social skills which will enable human
being to put their general understanding of thorough will be practice in the ways which is
suitable for each and every occasion (Henry, Devin and Karen 11). Thus, it can be stated that
regarding the above court of criticism against Aristotle ethics, I personally agree with the claim
