INTRODUCTIONThe sociological theories and topics are integral part for transformation of societytowards increasing and decreasing trend. The enclosed report deals with sociological theoriessuch as Functionalism, Feminism and Marxism and how it affects sociological topics such asfamily, welfare, crime, health, inequalities etc. Current report discusses on each of the topics andhow they are interrelated to sociological theories in an effective manner. Thus, sociologicalperspectives are discussed with respect to all the sociological topics which prevail in Britain. Thesociological perspectives help to shape society in positive as well as negative way.1.1, 2.1 Sociological theories and topicsFunctionalismFunctionalism is one of the essential theories of sociology. It has impact on varioussociological topics such as family, welfare, inequality, crime and health. These topics have greatemphasis in current scenario of Britain. Functionalism means that how each part of societycontributes to overall effectivenessso that entire society may be easily benefited with much ease(Luna and Winters, 2017). This is essential as parts of the this shapes future of society in aneffective way. Moreover, sociological topic such as family and welfare help to shape society inthe best possible way and any instability in it will go in vain. Stability is required so that eldersmay rely on children and as such, welfare of society is maintained with much ease.Thus, socialwelfare will be achieved. On the other hand, inequality and crime will have adverse effect onsociety as this would result in deficiency of society and as such, welfare would not be attained.Crime will ruin shape of society quite adversely. While, health is also another contributing factorwhich affects society as ill effects on health will have serious repercussions. Thus, these aspectsare important to shape society. FeminismFeminism theory of sociology focuses on women. This theory is based on genderinequality which is prevailing in the society (Mansfield, Caudwell, Wheaton and Watson, 2018).Moreover, according to the recent data, crime has been evolved in UK and women have been inprison for various reasons and as such, number is being doubled in past years.
