INTRODUCTION
The sociology of the gender and sexuality is the largest field of the sociology features
where the research has investigated about the social development of the gender and interacts with
the social forces where it relates to the overall structure of the sociology. The term, sociology
simply refers and explains the complex behaviour of human being, social phenomenon and the
structure where it becomes important to explain the gender gap.
However, an individual person is required to understand this subject and concept in better
manner from which the gender and sexuality gaps can be fulfilled in definite order (Davis, 2021).
The current report will illustrate the brief about the sociology of gender and sexuality which
enable the human being to think and implement the action in appropriate manner. Also, the
report will include the different theoretical perspectives on gender and sexuality subject with
different kinds of examples where it will help to interpret and understand the sociology of gender
and sexuality in definite order.
MAIN BODY
Demonstrating the concept of sociology of gender and sexuality
Sociology means the study of human social relationship where it is important for an
individual to understand it in better manner. The sociology includes the human social behaviour,
relationship, interactions and aspects of everyday life. Thus, the sociology of gender and
sexuality is also the major subject to understand and enhance the knowledge on this particular
method from where it becomes easy for each individual to understand the social perspective sin
regard to gender and sexuality. The term gender simply defines as the cultural and social factors
which attributed to men and women on the basis of biological differences (DuFord, 2022). It can
be simply understood as differentiation between the men and women in regard to their social
structural status where it can be identified by the biological differences in definite manner. The
sociology of gender examine that how the society influences the understanding of differentiation
between feminism and masculine and identify the social practices.
However, the sexuality refers the investigation of sexual practices and behaviours of
human being where an individual person can be able to understand the thinking and different
perspective of the society in regard to sexuality. The sociology of the sexuality and gender is
quite different from each other and can be identified in definite manner (Belizario, Goel,
Kolehmainen, Mayerchyk and et.al., 2019). Sexuality is a biological trait that society assign
