INTRODUCTION
The sociology of health defines social approach of health to improve the various factor
which is happens. Where , health is defined as the person which is physical, mental and social
well being. As with the definition health is multidimensional aspect. Medicine refers as a social
institution which help to prevent, diagnose and treat illness and also help in promotion of health
in different dimension. The social institution involves more than 11 million people. Include
physicians, nurses, dentist, therapist, medical staff and record technicians and many of rise of
occupation (Brosnan C., 2016). The important sociological aspect is their approach towards the
health and illness which are functionalist approach, conflict approach, symbolic interactionist
approach, where the functionalist approach mention that the good health and effective medical
care are very major for the functioning of society, the conflict theory mention related to health is
social variation create the difference in quality of health and the quality of health care, the health
and illness of any people is social construction. In this topic, rise of biomedicine is going to
cover, their role and management in British society and relevancy of biomedicine to health and
health care.
MAIN BODY
The role of state in development of biomedicine is further contributing. In UK society is
going to accept the biomedicine which create the raise and rise in form of biomedicine. The
researcher also develop new plan and new medicine for different disease which helpful in
treatment (De Choudhury and et. al., 2017). The institution of biomedicine science (IBMS)
which is regulatory body for the biomedical scientist in the united kingdom. The IBMS was
established in 1912 which is approximate 20000 state bodies which regularly creating new plan
and new development theme in national health services (NHS). And also state bodies provide the
laboratory, the national blood authority, health protection agency, medical research council and
environmental department and many more. The main theme of this state body is to regulate and
promote biomedical science with new techniques and skill which help to formulate the quality in
health and health care. Whereas, the IBMS carries out the range of various role and functions.
Such as setting an standard of practice work to protect and prevent patient, representation of
biomedical sciences in an interest way to UK government, media and universities, take an advise
form the UK government department and national organisation on all the matter which is
