Abstract
The importance and the essentiality of the play pedagogies in the early childhood education. Play
is one of the most essential ways in which the young children gain some of the essential skills
and the knowledge. With the increased number of researches, it has been revealed regarding the
some of the most common challenges with the play pedagogies that includes the less structured
and difficulty to plan the pay learning, feeling of uncertainty regarding the implementation of the
guided play and lack of direct instruction in play learning. The report aims to highlight the
efficiency of the play pedagogies on the early childhood education.

has been the topic of increased debate and attention in the current years. Play based learning or
play pedagogies is considered one of the vital instructive method towards the enhancement of the
academic and social outcomes (ACARA. 2010). There has been along debates regarding the
progressive suppression regarding the context of play and the value of education in early
learning. With the increased number of researches, it has been revealed regarding the some of the
most common challenges with the play pedagogies that includes the less structured and difficulty
to plan the pay learning, feeling of uncertainty regarding the implementation of the guided play
and lack of direct instruction in play learning.

In the current time, the challenges reported in the context of the play learning has been
one of the major factor of concern. This is because the educative context regarding the teacher
guided play, the direct instructions and the child directed free play are all the strategies or the
factors for the promotion of the early effective literacy across the kindergarten (Gray,2013). The
issues rising due to the play learnings and the play pedagogies are some of the factors that are
creating barriers towards the proper and the effective implementation of the advocacy for the
play pedagogies in the early childhood education.
