The story is about World War one where I imagine myself as a soldier and share my experience
in a creative manner.
Soldier in a war
The sky is grey but the clouds are black moving above me like a symbol of death. This all
reminding me about my mortality and the war planes are flying through the sky with a rapid
speed as compared to clouds which indicate me that my life is at end. Suddenly rain was lashing
down and lightning bolts terrifying me just like the knives attacking the sky as though they are
determined to murder nature. Not only this, I searching out one drop of beauty to stick on to,
then as the bombs are dropping, the sand is hitting my face where tiny needles stabbing out my
drawn pale face. As the rain poured into trench the mud and slush was unbearable because I am
already in a pain. I feel goosebumps and actually the night is horrible because due to darkness
the troop actually light up the fire but sometimes the soldier were too close to the edge would
actually severely burnt by fire with his blistered skin, that was not tolerable.
The troop led by the front line and I heard a horrific crying noise and I peered over
outside to see what happened and actually he had been repeatedly shot and moaning. I was the
proof to see that his life was slowly fading away and this is all because we are made to feel this
pain. I will never forget the scene which realise me how one torment for his life even he knows
his life is about to an end. Also, we work as team and after seeing our front line died we start
making strategy where we decided to fight against the enemy for our country. Next day, we
execute the plan and attack on the troop in daylight as the weather is also non-stormy. Further, I
realise that planning is different but reality of war actually differ where we have to face the
reality. Further, we are able to execute the plan and with the help of team members we
successfully win the war. The night life of the soldier is not good because one of them should
awake and keep an eye towards the other parties. Due to rainy season, the smell from cloths in
unbearable and I feel like, I have to reach to next points in a contaminated zone where my feet
look disfigured. Also, the entire situation and especially the night is horrible because there is a
pin drop silence everywhere and when we are making strategy for an attack for a next day, one
of the team member standing outside in order to ensure that we all are safe. At that time, I realise
that when we work as a team the work will be divided easily and this in turn help to execute the
strategy effectively.

When I was returning towards my camp, I thought that the war is not only meant to be
provide solution but most of the unnecessary people die just to sake their country. Also, I
realized that The scene was make me cry when I saw my friends and other soldier died on the
floor where blood flow from their body. This horrified image somehow make me strong as well
because at that point I understood that my life is for my country. Once the war finished, all the
bodies were handed over to the parents in a respectful manner so that they can complete their
funeral as per the rituals. In this war, I lost many friends but with the same time I learn how to
survive in such type of area. Among all, the huge loss for us is front line manager who always
help everyone to do best and his kind heart will never be forget. As this war is my first war
where I practically execute the things with the help of my team in order to improve the condition.
After finishing it, when I was about to call my parents to inform about me they all surprised and
my mother send me lots of blessing which makes me proud for my job. At the end of the call, I
request my mother to remember me that I made for my country and will also died for my country
only because this is all about the life of a soldier when he was born.
