Personal and professional development is a strategic process through which an individual or
entire organisation can engage in the process of acquiring new skills, gaining relevant
knowledge, learning to meet challenges and accomplishing personal and professional goals.

Short term goals are goals for the immediate future that have to be accomplished within a
time duration of 2 years. My short term goals are improving my communication skills in my
second language, getting good grades in my university examinations and enhancing my
researching skills.

Medium term goals are goals for the relative future that have to be accomplished within a
time duration of 5 years. Medium term goals are built on short term goals. My medium term
goals are graduating from university with honours, getting internship in a tech organisation
