Government funding
Government funding is provided to tourism business so that it may be able to
function and operate well. DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) is responsible for
granting funds to organisations so that it may be able to perform well and attract tourists
by implementing well-structured strategies. Thus, financial assistance is provided to
business for achieving goals.
Debt funding
Debt funding is another source of raising funds by the travel and tourism business.
Debt carries a promise to pay to creditor principal amount along with interest accrued till
period. Thus, it is adequate source of funds for fulfilling operational tasks. As such, travel
business garners funds in effective way.
Capital Projects
Tourism Information Point (TIP)
TIP is the information centre which is used to provide necessary
information to travellers who come to visit places with their families and
friends. It assists tourists to explore destination places in the nation and as
such, they are provided assistance by customer care executives to help
explore places and resolve their queries.
Small Scale Tourism
Small Scale Tourism is useful as it has large scale benefits to tourism
business in UK. Large tourist destinations are observed by the travellers but

business and funds are also allocated so that rural tourism may be encouraged
with much ease.
