Organisational structure
The administrative framework of the Southwestern Border comprises of a branch of
Social Welfare Bureau which runs a number of departments such as : the administrative
convention and the directors. Members of administrative convention comprise of : the directors ,
the deputy directors ,department managements and finance, head of R&D and lastly financial
service bureau representatives that are further made up of the following departments.
Social cohesion division
Under this division, there are other sub-divisions such as the office of children and youth
services, the office of the aged issues , the office of rehabilitation and lastly the licensing offices.
The Office of Drug treatment and prevention of drug dependence.
Under this office , there are the following division : rehabilitation and social treatments
for drug dependency, The Division of Family and public services , the office of R&D as well as
the department of finance and administration (Salazar, & Donnelly, 2009).
Frustration of uncoordinated law enforcement and homeland security activities at the SWB
The drastic increase in incoordination of law enforcement has resulted to increased levels
of crime such as illegal immigration , Terrorism , drug trafficking among others . As a result of
such issues , resources are not being used in a proper manner and there is increased cases of
money laundering across the region around the region (Gates, 2012).
