This article provides an interpretation of SPSS results on the relationship between cognitive decision, personality traits and stress. ANOVA and regression analysis reveal the impact of stress and personality traits on decision making. The article also discusses the importance of environment on personality and decision making. References from Nishimura et.al. (2022) and Yilmaz and Kafadar (2020) are included.

DATA INTERPRETATION
With the help of the ANOVA result it is clear that the significance value is .001 and this
implies that the alternate hypothesis is being accepted rejecting the null. This is because of the
reason that the significance value is less than standard that is 0.05 and with this it can be stated
that there is a relationship between the cognitive decision and it can be affected by the
personality traits and stress. With this ANOVA test result it can be stated that there is a great
impact being created because of stress and personality traits over the decision making on IGT
that is Iowa Gambling Task. This is because of the reason that the stress is having an impact of
the working over the decision making by the IGT. Further the output also stated that the
personality trait affects the IGT outcomes. The Mauchly test of Sphericity outlined that the null
hypothesis is being rejected and there is an association between the stress and personality trait
over the decision making of IGT.
Along with this the regression analysis outlined that the R is 22.9 % and this implies that
there is low correlation between the two variables that is dependent and independent. The
dependent variable is IGT total score and the predictors that is independent variables involves the
five personality traits. Hence, with this it can be stated that personality trait can be affecting the
IGT total score and this can affect the efficiency of the person and their decision making as well.
along with this the R square is 5.2 % and it implies that any change in the independent variable
will be causing a change of 5.2 % in the dependent variable as well. thus, with this it is clear that
in case there will be change in any of the five personality trait then it will be affecting the total
IGT score as well. This is pertaining to the fact that when the personality of the person will be
changing then it will be affecting the efficiency of the person and their decision making
capability will be affected to a great extent.
In addition to this, the significance value was 0.566 and this indicates the fact that their
null hypothesis is being accepted and alternate is being rejected. This is because of the reason
that the significance value is more than standard of 0.05. Hence, it can be stated that according to
this there is not any relation between the IGT total score and the other five personality traits. This
is very important to be present because in actual there is an impact being created by the changes
in personality trait over the person and their decision making for IGT as well. Hence, for this it is
necessary for the person that they must be having proper working capability so that proper
decision can be taken by the person in accordance to the personality of the person. In case the

personality of the person will be negative then it will be affecting the decision making of the
person to a great extent. hence, for this it is necessary that the person must be working in better
and effective manner.
In support of this Nishimura and et.al., (2022) stated that the highly stressed individual
will be performing lower on IGT as compared to the individual who are having lower stress
level. This is very important for the person to be very strong and better so that the working and
the decision making of the person is good and effective and will be taking in better way.
Moreover, the working of the personality is also affected by the surrounding where the person
lives and stay. This is because of the reason that when the person will be living in an
environment wherein the people are negative then this will be affecting the personality of the
person as well in negative manner. This is very necessary for the reason that when the person
will think in negative manner then it will be affecting the efficiency of the person to a great
extent.
In against of this Yilmaz and Kafadar (2020) stated that in case the person will be living
in good environment then this will be improving the personality and decision making skill of the
person. This is because of the reason that when the person will be working in better and effective
manner then it will be improving the efficiency of the person to a great extent. Hence, it will be
improving the decision making skills of the person and will be assisting them to work in better
and effective way. Also, it will be improving the efficiency of the person to a great extent.
